Decided to stay in the more affordable town of Petaluma for our Sonoma wine tour trip . This hotel was in walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. The adjacent Shuckery restaurant was great. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked a Queen Room for 3 nights. There was not one space to unpack our suitcase or even to set it up on a stand to live out of the suitcase. We had to pile our clothes on the floor and keep our suitcase in the car. We have stayed in many small hotel rooms around the world but never one that did not allow a spot to have our clothing. Nice hotel but I prefer to not have to get dressed from my car!

Old and clean hotel! Ton was amazing! Loved the throwback elevators. Parking can be tricky! Warning bar is not affiliated with the hotel so don’t think you can charge it to your room! So got screwed on that but overall happy! 200 characters are hard to write but. Good place and vote for DJT!!

Pros: - A nicely refurbished old hotel - Right in the heart of downtown Petaluma, a very walk able and inviting downtown Cons: - The windows don’t open. We are in this great climate and beautiful place, and you can’t get any fresh air - Not sure if this is just a 2nd floor problem, or the whole hotel, but the seafood restaurant’s smell on the 1st floor permeates the entire floor. I could barely sleep bc the smell was so strong, and you can’t air out the room bc the windows don’t open. I filled out a post-stay survey and asked someone to call me but have heard nothing.

Great hotel. As someone who manages a hotel I can tell you the team is top tier. From the service to the room everything was great. Ton was very knowledgeable and friendly at check in and the lady at check out on 6/15 morning was also very friendly and welcoming. I will be back just to stay at this hotel.

This hotel is great location in the charming downtown of Petaluma. The building and common areas (lobby and courtyard) are very nice spaces, with tables and seating to hang out. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are quite basic, with sparse ikea-esque furnishings that seem too flimsy for a hotel. The biggest issue is sound—we said “uh oh” as soon as we saw the earplugs on the nightstand. Footfalls from the room above us were very audible, waking us at 6:30 am during a vacation stay. Other notes—-free yoga by the excellent teacher Antonia was lovely, bakery in building very good.

We stayed here for an evening after flying into California from the Midwest. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! We arrived around 8pm, and opted to do the checkin through the Hilton app with ease. There is plenty of free parking around the property, and it is a peaceful and safe area. The property itself was nothing short of charming and unique. The standard room was small, but it had everything we needed for one night and it was comfortable. The most important thing is that it was clean and we got a great night's sleep. The bathroom was a good size, too. In the morning we opted to check out of the room, grab some breakfast at a cafe nearby, and we ate at a table in the cozy lobby. We had no need to interact with hotel staff, but from what I could tell while eating in the lobby, the front desk staff was very helpful to guests. This hotel exceeded my expectations.

From the moment we walked into the lobby we felt so welcomed. The front desk was very accommodating and friendly. Our room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Our view of the courtyard was beautiful and the shutters are so pretty! Being in the downtown area was fabulous for walking around and popping into all the quaint shops.

So great, old time hotel walking distance from in town activities. Big lobby with fireplace and bar. Wonderful wine and cheese place and seafood resturant attached. Rooms totally renovated and clean. Would go back anytime.
