Fancy spending New Year Eve or special occasion or just a staycation? Then Royale Chulan the Curve will be the place. Surrounded by shopping malls, celebrations went on through midnight. The fireworks display was a scene to behold. After a leisure New Year day breakfast, just hop over to the malls or relax. Will definitely book again. However, I experienced an over zealous housekeeping staff who asked me twice if I were checking out (when I went for breakfast and shopping). It was quite creepy when people could observe guests going in and out. Gave my feedback regarding this matter to the reception / checkout counter.

Our favourite hotel for family trip in KL. One of the few that offers great price for a two bedroom hotel and breakfast for whole family.

Good place

It’s my 3rd stay in Royale Chulan each time I am in KL,chose to book at Family suite room as we have 4 adults in this group.Check in to the hotel was a breeze and thought of getting nice facilities for a family excites me.To my horror,the ironing board cover was very dirty and if was detached from the board,When we opened the cupboard,it gave a creeking sound.Not enough of hangers inside the closet for us to hang our clothings too.The door between the master bedroom ( with a king size bed) and toilet was unable to close as we left the toilet light on when we are asleep. We had 4 days of breakfast in the hotel and the food variety was almost the same and most of the food/fruits/yoghurt are slow to top up or practically NO REFILL AT ALL,Most of the cooked dishes are cold by the time we arrive ,say at around 8am.Very disappointing ! May not book this hotel in the near future

I did got bitten by bed bugs the first two nights before i made my complaint. It was resolved immediately so I am thankful. My advice though, this should not have happened. Please do regular servicing on the mattresses. Travelers are very busy and these types of inconvenience is affecting us. We barely have time to complaint and bed bugs are serious matters especially to those who are more sensitive and I had to seek treatment for it. Other room for improvement would be the breakfast buffet. It was the same for the whole 4 days of stay. Please introduce more varieties to your menu and not just have the same for few days straight. I stayed one night at Royal Chulan with my friends & we took the family suite. The rooms were very comfortable & spacious and so is the bathroom. Breakfast spread was good & delicious.

I used to stay here, but during the last two days, I stayed nearby where renovation work started at 10:30 PM and went on until 1 AM. It was very noisy, and I couldn’t sleep well. The night shift reception staff mentioned that the work would continue for a few hours, which I believe the hotel should manage better. The morning reception staff tried to inform the relevant department to monitor this issue, but it seems they were unable to resolve it during my second day of stay.”

Day 1 - only 1 towel available, stains on bedsheet, no phones on bedside, air conditioning noises so loud we had to move to another room at 11pm. Day 2 - broken safe, phone out of order, stains on bedsheets, counter top in toilet moulded, toilet lights black out twice!!! The only good thing about this hotel is the location, nothing else! Worst experience I’d ever had!

Parking no longer free. No room phone to call to front desk during my stay.

Checking in and out was smooth with friendly staff. Room was medium sized but the Queen bed was a tad small. Air conditioning is good but water pressure is weak. Breakfast was simple with mainly local food and nothing to shout about. Parking is payable at RM7.70 per night and not complimentary.
