Actual rating for the experience: Bottomless negative.
Booking experience: Percect with picture and price and promising reviews. Hence top notch attractive. Right away book for 4 nights with note given advance I want view as picture. If view would not give difference then why bother make it different category with different pricing?
Getting the room: Completely miserable and kept checking picture that I did not make wrong booking. Yea, 1000% confirm my booking was correct. Confirmed it was incorrect room given.
Reception service: I went down to inform room was incorrect asking for change and I have indicated what I want in the note. Response: Sorry tonight fully booked. Me: but i indicated what i want in note this should have been arranged in advance. Response: Sorry we received no information. Me: I like to cancel. Response: You may try. we are just here to pass you the key. Frustration ignited. Fine, no value service is acceptable for such price range place.
Hotel customer service: Shared all pictures showing inconsistency informing incorrect room asking for change. Response get: Sorry fully booked; no cancellation allowed; our listing is correct (despite pictures with different view shared); sorry the room is assigned by Trip.com (completely rejecting responsibility). I immediately rage with migraines attacked attributed by such ill and irresponsible responses. My holidays cant be like this, acknowledging the level of customer service for this range of place. I right away book Eastin for subsequent 3 nights. Im done with such nauseas and helpless communication.
Trip.com: Sincere apology with minor gesture compensation offered as hotel refused refund.
Conclusion:
1. The listing was deceptive. Picture is not consistent with reality. Even they allow you to leave a note, this will not be noted. The room given is of another category listing.
2. Despite the pictures showed, customer service refused responsibility by not allowing change of room and totally rejected refund for cancellation. Your experience and voice were not only not heard, not only completely ignored, concern completely not addressed leaving you suck the **** up entirely, even I checked out right after next day which meant I did not stay for remaining 3 nights, they still send the courteous text asking you to give 5 star rating. This speechless and helpless service is essentially like they bloodily chopped your body into pieces and requested you to give 5 star rating for their chopping skill.
3. End up I paid for incorrect room not due to my mistake; I paid for helpless situation; I received incorrect product and yet being asked to accept their excuses which mean you are asking me to suck it up myself; I compensated myself for not my mistake.
Duly noted the ill service level.
