Mercure Perth on Hay arvostelua

The location is good, it’s in the city. The room is big and has a balcony. But it’s a bit noisy at night, I dun know what the sound is, whether it's the pipes or the machine.

Few mins walk to many places in the city. The room was a bit dusty.

Very convenient; parking fees need to pay

The hotel staff are helpful and diligent. Location is good though we don’t enjoy the breakfast. It’s a good experience altogether for a 2 nights’ stay near the city.

Good hotel, in a good location. Everything is available in the room. Very clean. Liked the fact there was a balcony.

When I booked my stay I was told there wasfree parking but the parking was not free and the fridge did not work. 2 days later when my food started going off I realized and notified the hotel who exchanged it promptly

We stayed for 4 nights and overall the hotel felt more like a 3-star rather than a 4-star. During our stay, we ran out of soap and i asked three times, no one came to replace it until I personally asked the cleaner for a refill. Our first room also had a cracked toilet seat with rough edges that actually scratched us, so we requested a room change. In the second room, the room phone was not working, we went out for the day expecting it to be fixed, but nothing was done by the time we check out the hotel. To be fair, the location is convenient and the staff are friendly, but the experience and maintenance standards did not reflect a 4-star rating. With improvements in housekeeping responsiveness and room upkeep, this hotel could offer a much better stay.

Location is ok. Near hay street shopping area. The hotel is old and internally, carpet and curtains are quite dated. Got a room near the lift and keeps hearing the lift moving up and down. Aircon was loud.

Location is the greatest merit of the hotel.  With other elements, they are pretty basic.

Very nice hotel, big rooms, great front bar. Close walking distance to the Hay Street Mall. Good cafes close by with a great burger joint just up the road on the forecourt of the Great Western Hotel. Comfortable beds, clean linen and overall a quiet hotel experience. Will definitely stay here again.

The room was dated and needs updating, the bed was uncomfortable and kept separating which was really frustrating as we booked a king bed for a reason and had 2 nights booked. We called reception to see if we could change rooms but was advised that all the rooms have a split bed. They need to make it so it doesn't separate. I've stayed in other hotels in perth and some that have been a lower stars but have had better beds. I wiill not be returning here again.

The checkin was fast and smooth though very casual not professional in demeanour. The room was ok nothing fancy. Loved the location close to shops and plenty of restaurants around. The parking was not free cost $35 and was not available. I believe that if you are a guest the hotel shouldn’t make money for parking. I parked somewhere else.

Strategic location at the CBD of Perth. Only thing is the set up of the hotel is quite outdated
