Okay for a short stay Nice overall. Steps to a large shopping plaza with Carrefour and other stores. Rooms are clean. There vere several beds in the room filling all corners. No elevator in the hotel, which was a problem for handicapped people (like us)

Friendly overnight stay Very comfortable budget overnight stop, ideally placed near a motorway exit. Very friendly service. 15-20 minute walk to the delightful medieval town of Pérouges with its restaurants.

Basic but reasonable and clean hotel A basic hotel for a basic price. Although all was present and available, the beds could be a little better, the airco was working but only on or off, no lo speed so we had to switch it off during the night. Very friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool was a plus with the hot weather. From the hotel it’s a 20 min walk to the old Perouges.

Hotel La Berengere is easy to find, on the right just after the first roundabout as you enter Perouges (and before the left turn up to old Perouges village). If you don’t have a Satnav it might be slightly difficult as the hotel is hidden behind a high hedge. Parking is plentiful. Although we were an hour early, the charming lady let us book into our room, which is what I’d describe as plain and functional, but perfectly comfortable and with a very smart en-suite. The lobby area in reception is smart and comfortable and there is also a nice patio and pool area. The hotel is situated just on the edge of Meximieux and is a comfortable 20 minute walk into the old village of Perouges. Meximieux is where you will find all the usual facilities but if you like a beer in the evening I warn you that there aren’t many bars in town. I found two - L’Aquarelle and the Lion d’Or (the latter being very good) which are both no more than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. You can, of course, get beer in the hotel. Breakfast was very good and, in addition to fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals etc, there was a decent selection of cold meats, cheeses and hard boiled eggs all served with plenty of bread and croissants. Although the coffee was from a machine it was actually OK. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly use the hotel again.

petit hôtel situé près du veux Pérouges historique, à environ 1.5 km un grand parking, une réception ouverte 24h/24, une piscine chambre spacieuse, confortable et propre, climatisée petit déj copieux avec pain et viennoiserie servis à table, en belle quantité l'hôtel se situe à environ 20 à 25 minutes du parc des oiseaux séjour très pratique

La stanza era discreta, ma l’aspetto che ho preferito è stato l’accoglienza e la gentilezza del personale, giovane e preparato, persino affabile. La colazione eccellente.

Le personnel très courtois et très aimables. Les chambres de taille correctes , très propres, mais un peu vétuste. Pa contre, la literie a revoir. Matelas hyper dur, oreillers qui fait mal aux cervicales. Autrement bon rapport qualité prix.

Avons passé un bon moment dans l'ensemble, avons signalé manque de chauffage dans la chambre. On nous a proposé d'ouvrir la fenetre car dehors il faisait chaud. Un peu limite pour 1 prix de 100 euros quand meme. Sinon bel établissement propre et avec piscine.

Ottima soluzione per una sosta di viaggio. L’hotel è pulito e confortevole anche se la camera è molto piccola ma del resto è pur sempre un due stelle.Gentili in reception, buona la colazione. Parcheggio gratuito nella loro area privata. L’hotel è a 10 minuti in auto dal città medievale di Pérouges che vale sicuramente una visita.

Hôtel pratique, confortable et propre pour une escale. Le restaurant attenant est agréable et de bonne qualité. C'est appréciable en cette période de juillet août ou la plupart des restaurants des environs sont fermés pour congés.

Très bien Juste que la chambre était en rdc, un peu sombre mais sinon tt très bien

Chambre propre, lieu agréable, bon petit déjeuner
