Anastasia Splash Residences

I'm not normally one to write reviews; but on this occasion I felt I had to. I would like to begin by saying that this is certainly not the worst hotel I have ever been to, but it is nowhere near worthy of the 4 stars it seems to have got. I have a sneaky suspicion that it may well be self-proclaimed. The rooms were OK - only OK. The room we had was right opposite The Station Pub, which was obscenely loud (not necessarily the hotel's fault though). It was cleaned OK - but again only OK. We arrived very late in the day, and had been promised some water and a couple of cans of fizzy drinks - these did not materialise unfortunately, only a few rock-hard sandwiches that were inedible. Had to wait until the supermarket opposite was open to go and get some water. Generally the staff in the hotel appeared to be majorly inconvenienced by all the patrons of the hotel/apartments - the majority were sullen, rude and ignorant, in particular a couple who worked at the main pool bar who would only grunt at you if you were lucky. The room key cards malfunctioned numerous times, resulting in the inconvenience of having to go to reception to get them reset. The lifeguards could not have been less interested, on their phones, smoking, talking amongst themselves, or just picking their nails. The food in the main restaurant was mediocre at best, there was plenty of variety, but it was lukewarm and pretty tasteless, and I suspect the fruits and salads were there for several sittings at a time. The food at the snack bar was not very imaginative. The location of the hotel was good, it was only a few minute walk to a small, stony beach. The water park was a big hit with my children, but unfortunately they're not quite as discerning as their mother - it was rundown and maintained poorly, it was quite unsanitary as well. The lifeguards seemed more interested in entertaining themselves and children they knew that obviously had the benefits of using the water park. The main pool area was quite pleasant, but the edging was mouldy and some were broken, some poor little girl's foot went through it. There were plenty of sunbeds. There was availability of beach towels daily, and as hard as the pool boy worked, he did seem to set his own schedule and do things in his own time! There was an indoor pool that was beyond disgusting, and the bathrooms close to the pools were simply a biohazard. There was a distinct lack of entertainment during the day, there were a couple of unenthused attempts to do water polo and aqua-aerobics, we couldn't even muster the energy to venture to the main evening's entertainment - we heard some wailing one evening that we believe to be karaoke, and thought it best to give it a wide berth!

One of the worst holidays I've ever had, the Inbetweeners had a better hotel. The reception looks lovely but that's where it ends, 2 tiny lifts that nearly chop you in half and don't reopen Tiny rooms with 2 single beds pushed together and a camp bed, 2 quilts to share between 3 beds and no spare pillows, laminate flooring peeling away, cigarette buts on the balcony The dining area is the same food every day with a different name, Cypriot night is pork, stewed beef, chicken as is every other night! Some of the plates and bowls are chipped more than Tiger Woods golf ball You need to queue for 40 minutes to get a table for evening food The bar inside the hotel has 1 barman, and around 10 glasses, once they are used its plastic glasses. The pool area is singing, the drainage vents around the edge if the pool have mould growing in them, they where never cleaned once, there was a small area changed after a young girl fell into it and hurt her foot as it was damaged, the lifeguard said she had reported it on the morning but nothing was done, the lifeguards wander around to the pool around 10.15 but go missing regularly The pool bars, the one at the large pool opens around 9am but the barman tells you he is doing you a favour and asks for a tip, there is no ice until around 11.15 at any pool bar, there are lots of damaged areas in and around the pools, cracked tiles or missing, open areas where concrete has worn away, the pool is murky all day, you can't see toys on the bottom due to the murkiness All in all a lovely place to visit but never again at this hotel

Дочке купил духи, на следующий день после уборки комнаты, духов больше не было в номере. Хотела перед ужином пшикнуться и нет! Перерыли всё и не раз. На ресепшене вечером сообщили, к утру обещали выяснить. Подошёл утром, никто не в курсе. Администратор пообещала через 2 часа разобраться. Через 2 часа ничего не поменялось. Типа уборщица не брала и мы всё придумали! Вот такой подход! Отель покрывает своих работников воришек! П.С. У друга в соседнем номере немного мелочи пропал ~ 5€

The worst hotel I have been to. Not 4 star, about 1-2 star. Whole hotel was so dirty, don't bring your money here. Old building, staff was terrible, music was loud . Only good thing was food. I had to fly back to Scandinavia, I could not stay there.

Not a 4 star hotel. A huge disappointment. Unsanitary, duscusting. Unfriendly staff. Food tastes expired & moldy. Do not come here. Staff from Bulgaria / Romania etc... They do not speak English. This place should be closed... Corridor mats filthy and makes u feel like you do not want to touch anything. The whole place smells moldy and sure is.

Hotel location was good, nice comfy beds but the rest is just disappointing. Got things stolen from my room by the cleaners and tried to report it to managers but nothing happened. I was there in April and I’m not pleased with my stay there. Food was very mediocre too and would rather eat outside the hotel.
