Boonoona Ski Lodge

Warm and welcoming host Matt, food for breakfast and dinner was amazing thanks to his wife the chef and 5 stars. Drop off and pick up morning and afternoon, none at lunch and a fair walk up a hill to get a swlf made sandwich or toasted sandwich. Then walk back down again until 4pm. Instant coffee and teabags available all the time. Proper coffee extra costs. No Milo or hot chocolate available but as an extra. Rooms were tiny, only had beds and limited cupboard space so we lived out of suitcases. If we all stood up we could not move. Main double bed was very uncomfortable we rolled into each other all night, we even turned it around and still had issues. Heating is on or off no way of regulating the temperature. So either a very hot room or a cold one. Very lumpy pillows and the top bunk was dirty with hair on it, we had to ask twice for it to be re made and for more towels. Great endless hot water and shower pressure. Heated floor in bathroom. The spa and sauna were amazing. Views were incredible.

Very comfortable older style ski lodge. Ski down to the lifts. Matt kindly picks you up in the afternoon! Matt and Lou are very generous hosts. Matt the face of the lodge. Lou the quiet achiever who produces delicious food in the kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. Rooms a good size. Very effective heating! Would recommend and hope to stay here again this season!
