Premier Inn Bangor (Gwynedd, North Wales)

Very friendly and helpful staff on the reception desk. Would stay again. Train station shops and city centre are a 10 minutetaxi/car ride away.

I got off to a bad start with this hotel. I was given a room with a full bin, used bedding, used wet towels. I was moved to a room with 3 beds crammed in. It was like a cheap hostel. The tea and coffee provided in the room is terrible. Weak and tasteless. If you’re vegetarian, vegan or don’t eat fried food the dinner menu is extremely limited. Breakfast was a joke. Menu items weren’t available. The orange juice at breakfast had been substituted with a mixed juice with grapefruit. There was a small sign stating this, although it said Orange Juice in large letters and you had to read the notice to see the mention of grapefruit. Grapefruit juice should not be consumed, even in small quantities by many people on a range of common medications and can be very dangerous, even in small quantities. The staff, including the manager were not aware of this.

Booked this room on day of arrival we were very lucky got the last room . On arrival check in was easy young lad was very helpful we were in room 311 unfortunately no lifts but it was only up 1 flight of stairs . Room very clean everything needed we were only staying 1 night . Bed was king size extremely comfy slept very well . Bath with overhead shower . There's a pub next door witch is handy where they serve breakfast plenty of parking . Breakfast plenty of choice help yourself the cooked breakfast made to order comes out fresh and hot added bonus as most you just help urself like a buffet definitely recommend this place will be returning thank you

Room was very clean and tidy, no issues at all. The staff, particularly Jodie, was helpful and was very kind, giving us free breakfast, as we were staying for my partners 60th. Location perfect for Zip world and other places we wanted to visit. Food at Table Table was also really good, and the breakfast was just as we had ordered it.

Bed and the room were comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful. WiFi is terrible at best. Even the £5 a day ‘Ultimate WiFi’ was not good at all. Without WiFi, the phone coverage is equally poor. Premier Plus amuses me. Pay extra for things that a hotel should just have, like a mini fridge and WiFi.

Had a one night stopover here in mid May. Friendly staff made for a quick and simple check-in and then I never had any issues. There's a decent amount of parking and the room was nice. I always think it's worth paying the little bit extra for a 'Premier Plus' room: coffee machine, big shower, just generally nicer surroundings.
