Superb in every way. This proved to be one of the superior B&Bs we have ever used. Apart from the comfort and cleanliness we discovered two small brownies and two KitKats on the tea tray. Breakfast was delicious - porridge, fresh fruit salad, any cereals, full breakfasts and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon . Very inexpensive.

Would highly recommend staying at Albany House when in Penrith! It was a lovely bed & breakfast in a great location. It was our first time in Penrith and we really enjoyed exploring the town and then returning to our clean and comfortable room at Albany House in the evening.

Stay here!! Albany House was lovely. It was clean and the room was great. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were very accommodating. Would highly recommend:)

Albany very good! My first experience in a bed and breakfast in Penrith was very nice. Big bay windows and a large bedroom all to myself. The lady who served me was very nice and pleasant with me. She taught me how to open the door if I came back late.

excellent place to stay in Penrith. Warmly greeted by Susan and the room, bed and shower were excellent. A quiet place not far from good cafés and shops. Excellent breakfast.

Easy and comfortable 1 night stay Easy and comfortable. Comfortable bed, just right room temperature, nice size room. Close to restaurants.

Stopped One night perfect the owner was lovely very welcoming and gave advice on parking and local area Room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable

Had a most enjoyable week here. Perfect base to tour the Lake District. Ideally situated near city centre and bus station, 5 mins away, train station and castle 10 minutes, tourist info and museum just around the corner. Pleasant room with clean modern en suite bathroom. Great breakfast and comfy bed. Well looked after by Susan and Archie. Hope to return next year.

We booked for one night as a child free getaway and was pleasantly surprised at the standard of the room given the very reasonable price. The manager was friendly and welcoming and we will definitely try to stay again when we are in the area. The selection of drinks and snacks in the room was a great treat before bed. My

Myself and son had an amazing 3 night stay. Room spotless, shower fantastic, Breakfast lots of variety and super tasty 5 star thanks chef!. Susan very attentive and the brownies, coffee/tea in rooms replenished daily, nothing too much trouble. You have an amazing Guest House and it certainly shows how much work you put into your business, certainly a home from home. Thankyou a treasured memory.

This was a good location to jump off the motorway for an overnight stay. I arrived about 9.15pm and was welcomed in warmly. I was given a parking permit to put on the car which was parked on the road outside. The room was immaculate and spacious for 2 adults. It was lovely to get some divine chocolate brownies which hit the spot with a cup of tea before bed. Slept very well. The shower was great the next morning with small bottles of shampoo and shower gel provided. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Will definitely stay again. Thank you
