We arrived 4 days ago. For the past 3 days we have had great fun around the pool and going on the water slides. A child’s paradise. There are 2 slides that my child dad refused entry to on the first day. Not a problem with this. However on day 4 there was a female lifeguard with blonde hair who had not been on until today. Today like every other so far me and my son went upto the slides. To be told that he can’t go on half of the slides. I asked the question why is this a problem. To be told he is not tall enough. ( he has not shrunk overnight, or got younger or stopped being able to swim. When I asked why he had been allowed on for 6 hours a day , for the past 3 days. Her reply was he hasn’t. At this point we showed her and her manager the video of him on every slide. At first she tried to say out wasn’t the same child. When the manager came , she agreed it was the same child. ( we should know our own son) As we was discussing this with the manager and lifeguard Turkish gentleman came to me and explained they were being rude about us in their language. They were shocked when he replied to them. They said safety was their main concern. My question again is why did the manager then say he can have 1 last go then no more. I asked if it is not safe, why can he go on one last time, as the danger is the same each time. There were more than 5 families who were also having the same issue with the 1 lifeguard. 2 of the children was on the last day of a 2 week holiday where they have been on these slides every day. I asked if it wasn’t safe , what will be done with the lifeguards who had let all the kids on for so long, if in their own words ,they were putting the children in danger by using the slides. The slides were making up for the terrible food on offer and that there is as much items to pay for as there is on a so called all inclusive. As we finished our conversation with the rude lifeguard and manager 3 children went down the slides who were even smaller than our son. We offered to show his swimming certificate and show her his swimming as at first she said he can’t swim. She refused. It may be a coincidence that as it has got busier they are stopping a lot of children using facilities. Our son loved his Parasailing though. Hundred feet in the air
