From the foyer the hotel looked great, we were very excited and got there a bit earlier. We were happy to wait but the guy at the desk sent us straight up to our room. As soon as we stepped through the door, the first thing we noticed was a stale smell. Then we noticed the toilet and sink were super dirty with human hair and it was wet, basically like it hadn’t been cleaned between stays. In the bathroom, there was no toilet paper, shower mat or hand towel and by the time I went to have a shower, there was no hot water. When I got into bed , I discovered the sheets had big yellow marks on them. We asked the guy at reception to come and change them, he looked and said ‘oh that’s just stains’. After some umming and ahing he brought in ‘fresh sheets’ but the doona cover still had dirty marks on it. The Tv also didn’t work. Overall just a bad experience, we would’ve been better off in a hostel. Location is great anyway.
