Hotel le Bourbon Pau Centre arvostelua

Good points are the location, comfortable and clean bed (no duvet) and very pleasant staff. Bad points: a very old building with fixtures and fittings to match. No bedside sockets to charge things, two in the room and one stopped working, dirty sink plug, tiles not stuck properly, tired decor and painting. Sad, because it has potential but no money has been spent on it for some considerable time.

ホテルはポーのど真ん中の広場に面していた。場所は良い。しかし、建物がだいぶ古いのがわかる。部屋は広いが、バスルームが狭くて、シャワーの水圧も随分と弱く、アメニティも無いに等しい。レセプションの人達は良かった。エアコンあり。この立地でホテルを建て替えたら、4つ星ホテルに生まれ変われるのに。残念な古さ。

Le directuer was friendly and helpful. He spoke very good English and even helped me learn some new French words/phrases.

Great stay as usual, easy access and central location. Still too many Road works in the city.

Paschal was super kind and friendly, breakfast was very good

Terrible night. I stayed here as part of the 5 day cycle event Haute Route Pyrenees and having paid extra for a single room was extremely disappointed to find myself in a glorified cupboard. The ‘window’ was into an internal duct so at 1:30am I was wide awake and in desperate need of fresh air. I very much doubt that this room meets the French building regulations, it certainly wouldn’t meet the UK regulations.

Great old classic hotel - lots of character

Certes l’hôtel n’est pas récent et gagnerait à être refait dans un style plus contemporain. Cela n’empêche pas que tout soit très propre et en bon état. Je n’ai eu affaire qu’à un monsieur très aimable à l’accueil durant tout mon séjour.
