The booking at Atlantis was a sham and a huge rip-off. Booked a family suite for 2 adults and 2 children. Atlantis has well and trully seen its better days. Old! And dirty. To make matters worse we were at the mercy of a booking agent who knew nothing of the room as they even seemed surprised at its condition given that they indicated this was a great room when they greeted us(15 minutes after we advised her of our arrival)To the room itself The "sofa bed" for the two children was a dirty(see photo) filthy thing that had seen 100 frat parties. Oh and no linen except for 2 dirty pillows and a raggedy old dooner with cigarette burns(see photo) . Did i forget to mention the internet provided. It was in a box in the cupboard (see photo) so no internet. The tv did not work (see photo) No lock safe to secure our valuables. The king size bed was in fact a double and hard as a rock to sleep on-it was extremely uncomfortable and provided little in the way of a good night sleep We lost power for 4 hours but none of the emergency lighting worked so we had to stumble through black corridors to find our room. I think this is the last time for agoda as well. Been screwed too many times now with bad accom that we paid a premium price for. This was nothing more than a tawdry old airbnb and you certainly did not probity check to ensure the accomodation was up to spec. From the outset i understood this to be a hotel/resort I am giving you the opportunity to investigate (5 days)this complaint and rectify before i post on all the traveller websites. Also, They informed us that all of your complaints is invalid.
