De Linden Boutique Guest House

Guesthouse was neat. Staff were verry helpful. Our stay was rather pleasant. During winter an electric blanket will be nice. Also fireplace in use is key to add to comfort level. During loadsheding an alternative source of energy must be considered.

Cllean neat rooms serviced daily..the staff are knowledgable about local land marks and will on requestbook a table for you at a nearby restaurants. we gave them free rein to book for ue for the 3 nights of our stay. each one seemed better than the last. great food and service at Voorstrand, Noisy Oyster and Gaatjie. travekkers we met during the stay reccommended the Seakat restaurant for crayfish. all in all great value, the cheese grillers at breakfast are really crap. but overall great

Nice room, clean and cosy. We will be back to cpt on 24th of October. What is the best time to come backand to enjuy crafish? Where are not too many tourists? We are "swallows" living 6 month in Frankfurt and another starting- sa said- from 24th Oktober 23 . Kind regards Jurgen

Our stay at De Linden Boutique Guest House was a success from arrival to departure. Our room was clean and fresh as was the bathroom. The staff are exceptional- friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our arrival went very smoothly with prompt, professional, friendly service. It was the only place in South Africa where we were given load-shedding times! They also offered to book restaurants for us during our stay. All this is highly commendable. The room was delightful, clean, and comfortable, with natural lighting. Little lamps as well as wifi were available during load-shedding. The bathroom was clean. The use of the lounge, books to read and a balcony at the top to sit outside and have drinks made the guest house very cosy. It’s a 50-metre walk to the beautiful wide stretching beach as well as to several restaurants and shops. A tasty breakfast is available from 9-10 am and is included in the overnight stay. A pity we couldn't have a small breakfast earlier as we were leaving early for our long 10-hour road trip. Unfortunately, on our last evening, the electricity tripped (after load shedding electricity was returned) and the manager/owner was brusque and angry that we, as paying guests, had woken him up to check the switchboard and restore the electricity in the Guest House whilst his property had electricity. This does not make a good impression on guests. That being said we would certainly recommend De Linden Boutique Guest House.

We had a fantastic time at De Linden. Our room was modern, clean and beautifully furnished. It is walking distance from the beach and many restaurants. Lovely, fresh bathrooms. The breakfast was excellent, although there was a long delay for the cooked dishes. The pastries on offer were some of the best we've tasted! There was however no fan or airconditioner in our room, which we found strange given the cost of the rooms. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here.
