I arri ed in Nepal when the event ended so that we could have a week to ourselves, and she had enjoyed the accommodations so much that we cancelled our other plans to stay here. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and modern, with a tranquil courtyard where one can enjoy meals or just sit quietly. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. The restaurant is excellent, with great food and staff. The location is very convenient and a 3 minute walk to the Patan Darbar Square. We recommend this to anyone needing a welcoming and comfortable place to stay in Lalitpur."

"I booked this room for my parents. Hotel is nice, good location, near Bakhundol and walking distance to BhatBhateni supermarket. Welcome drinks was served upon check in, even for me who wasn't staying there. Staffs were polite and helpful. We also had a dinner at the rooftop restaurant. Food was nice, big portion. The only downside is that the room is quite small, a double bed almost occupies the whole space."

From the point of view of visiting for a couple of days, Lalitpur is an ideal location, next to Durbar Square, but not noisy and - importantly - not dusty. Be careful - this is a heritage hotel - a low ceiling right in the room according to the best traditions of Newar architecture. Delicious food in the restaurant (both breakfast and dinner)."

"First and foremost the name itself is worng!! Hotel Goodwill. Turns out to be Badwill!! We checked may be around 3pm and due to some booking issue from the hotel we were made to wait in the check in area for more than half an hour and the reception guy gave us apology drink for us which was kind of him… The rooms we checked the floor was dirty full of dust,women hair and there was a 2 sharp pins attached to a small wood literally placed at the bottom of the bed..📌📌 The rooms were not spacious as per shown in the official website!! The condition of the the floors was as if it was cleaned several months ago or maybe more than a year!! In the evening we ordered our meal and it was closing time of the hotel but we were told that you can order your meal and there is NO PROBLEM…We told the hotel staff that we will dine in front of the hotel room and we received our evening meal as per our orders and the additional meal we asked to the staff was so late and there was not even a proper lighting for us to serve the food as if were eating under a load shedding schedule..We even asked for the light to be turned on but they just ignored.The additional amount of food that we asked for was brought by the staff was more than 15 minutes later and there was only rice and we were informed that the rest of the items were finished😶😶We requested them for little lentils since the only rice is unacceptable to consume and the order was again late like more than 10 minutes..It was more of a HUMILIATION being a guest but the hall staff was hard working but the management was way too poor and the food service was so bad that we were totally shocked!! The amount we paid and the service we received was awful😖😖 This will be our last stay in this so called goodhell hotel… Learn the word HOSPITALITY first!!"

"This newly opened hotel has an extremely pungent smell from the renovations. I woke up with a headache the whole day after one night's sleep. If it weren't for the "Sad Guru" event, there wouldn't have been so many reservations. The room I was given was a connecting room, the kind you can open the door to the next room from your room, but that wasn't mentioned when booking. I contacted the front desk, and they had a regular room. They tried to change it for me, but it took very late. I tried to check out due to the pungent smell, but the locals didn't think it was a problem and refused to let me leave. There was another power outage in the middle of the night. They shouldn't be opening so early and using customers as guinea pigs, charging the full price of 890, not including breakfast. The worst part is the pungent smell; it's incredibly harmful. I recommend staying at this hotel again in a year. P.S. The Ctrip staff coordinated a 300 yuan refund. I'm impressed with the Ctrip platform. If you have any inconveniences while abroad, you can always ask Ctrip to resolve them. They're generally very considerate of their customers."

"Minulla oli ihana oleskelu Godavari Village Resort. Tämä lomapaikka teki minut tuntea rauhallinen, rento ja täysin tuore. "This homestay has an absolutely amazing location! It is inside Patan’s Durbar Square so you are staying right inside a living museum! Do note- if you want to see the rest of the square and the museum inside, you must visit the ticket desk in the front of the square and purchase a ticket. You can use it for multiple days and trips to the museum, it is just your contribution to the preservation of the space. I also ended up hiring a guide for a historical tour of the area- which I would recommend. We walked around for about two hours and he shared a lot about the history and the importance of the Durbar square and palace. But, if you do not want a guide, it is not required. I stayed in the female dormitory room and it was really comfortable! The bedroom and attached bathroom was really clean and cozy. I did not spend a lot of time in the room during my time in Patan, but I would stay here again if given the chance. You are RIGHT in the square, so it can be loud if there are activities happening- but it was not a problem after 8pm so I did not mind it. The staff is really great and friendly, this was a really great place to stay! "

"This is my second time staying at this hotel If you are in Patan, I recommend this place It's about 15 minutes' walk from Patan Durbar. I like to walk there and sit there at night. The hotel is on the main road, so it is much more convenient to take a taxi than in other places. This is what I like very much. The hotel staff can speak English and communicate well. They will try their best to help me. I want to change money. After showing me the way, they found that I went the wrong way and walked a long way to chase me and take me to the right place."
