Our recent stay at Selah Garden Hotel in May 2025 turned into a distressing experience for me and my family. What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend quickly shifted when I suffered a serious slip-and-fall accident in the pool area. The walkway was extremely slippery and lacked sufficient safety measures, which posed a clear hazard to guests.
My family witnessed the entire incident—naturally, they were shocked and deeply concerned. It was a traumatic moment for all of us, not just physically but emotionally. My loved ones spent the rest of our trip worrying, tending to my injuries, and dealing with the aftermath instead of enjoying our time together.
While the hotel initially covered some medical expenses, they later refused any further assistance and implied that I was at fault for using a mobile phone. This response felt dismissive and disappointing, especially when guest safety should always be a top priority.
I believe guests deserve to be warned. Our experience was painful and stressful, and it was made worse by the lack of accountability from the hotel. I hope this review encourages Selah to take safety and customer care more seriously moving forward.
