Hotel Ava Gil Puyat arvostelua

We were left with no choice but to check in since there are no more public transport we can avail going back to the province on a Thursday midnight. Here is my experience: We were expecting there is a room available since we were asked to pay upfront immediately, but we spent half an hour at the waiting area with no word on when our room will be available. (We're so sleepy already) After we were finally in our room and preparing to sleep already, we received a call from the front desk, asking us to pay a 100 peso on top of our initial payment for the so called 'weekend rate' that they said they missed to collect, although it is just Friday morning 12:++ am. I asked if we could just pay it when we check out in the morning, but they did not agree, saying they will send a room boy to collect the additional fee. We waited but the room boy did not arrive, so I went to the front desk to pay it, so we can go to our much needed sleep. The room is proper aside from the few small cockroaches from the sink, which we can live with; but the service could be a lot better if the staff would be more considerate.
