Midtown Hotel

Listen, I get that it was cheap, but this place should be condemned. I felt sure this was a trafficking hot spot. That's the vibe, so think on that before you wanna save money. Others have mentioned the train track- imo, that was the least of the issues. The room was freezing, and you either had to be freezing or sweating through your clothes. No in between. The lighting was harsh af and the furntiture looks like something they got from estate sales 30 years ago. The phone rang in the middle of the night and when I finally picked it up, it was just silence. Like ???. The man in the room next (which, why was he right next to me when there couldn't have been more than three people in that entire building) to me conversing with someone on the phone at 4 am loud enough that it sounded like he was IN my room. I actually got up to check. The walls are paper thin. I left at 5am because f this place. Spend an extra $20 and stay literally anywhere else.

Really cozy and good hotel

I have been visiting Parry Sound for years and have just landed on this quaint hotel. If you just need a clean place to lay your head this hotel fits the bill. Great downtown location and half the price of the fancy upscale hotels. It’s a little outdated, but Tony and his staff made sure that we got everything as advertised, including Wi-Fi, TV, and microwave. Maid service and fresh towels and toiletries were on a par with any other hotel. We will be back in Parry Sound next winter and the midtown will definitely be our first choice to stay.
