Had such a great stay at the garage, super scenic spot. The room was just perfect and it was quite a treat to arrive to fresh baked banana bread and chocolate cake the day we arrived. The owner was very accommodating and there to answer any questions. My boys, ages 11 and 13 were able to explore the property up to the waterfall behind the home which was an extra special treat. Especially when her dogs followed us along the trail I think that made their day. We even got to take advantage of the hot tub after our day of hiking. Looking back I would have booked 2 nights here as we really loved it and could have easily stayed 2 days and done some of our tours venturing out from there. .

The room environment was comfortable and clean, with a kitchen for cooking. Check-in was convenient, and I most enjoyed the scenery in the surrounding area, which felt like a world unto itself. It allowed us to spend an unforgettable day in Iceland.

First stayed in the ”villas” 4 years ago and came back this time to stay at the new part, which we felt was even better, especially for Families.

💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! 住三人房 下隔雙人牀 上隔單人床 放三個大行李 一個細行李 都冇問題 共用大廳和開放式廚房 地方頗大 有三個廁所 未試過要等候 適合一家大小 車可以泊在屋前 對面有一間餐廳 自己煑或往餐廳吃 不成問題 下次再來。

房間乾淨，服務很好，早餐不錯，中途休息一天的好選擇，無意打碎了一個玻璃杯並沒有讓我賠償，遺忘了充電寶致電酒店詢問也很快幫忙找到

Majoitus oli hyvä - hämmästyttävä sijainti, mukava pieni asunto, jossa löysimme kaiken tarvitsemamme. TÄMÄN TAI KUIN sisäänkirjautumisprosessi oli todella kamala kokemus. Soitimme puhelinnumero, joka löytyi hotellin verkkosivuilla - se tarkoittaa, että seurasimme sisäänkirjautumisprosessia kuten se mainittiin vahvistus sähköpostissa. Lady kertoi koodi, että meidän oli päästävä makuuhuoneelle, mutta emme voineet ymmärtää tarkalleen numero. Joten pyysimme häntä toistamaan hitaasti. Hän kertoi, ettei hän voi toistaa sitä ja kiinnittää puhelin. Sen jälkeen emme voineet soittaa takaisin - hän varmaan estää numeroni, joten ystäväni yritti soittaa hänelle, hän esti myös puhelinnumero. Soitimme hänelle matkan kautta - hän otti ylös ja kun kerroimme, että haluamme tarkistaa minut North Star -huoneelle hän taas hirttää. Ystäväni meni huoneistossa oven luo ja yritti yhdistelmiä numeroa avata oven - muuten emme nukkuisi huoneistossa tänä iltana. Todella kamala kokemus ja epäammattimainen käyttäytyminen henkilöstön.
