"Very pleasant stay and top notch service. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy. The staff were very quick to assist and very flexible with our requests. Really amazing! The location is right at skogafoss which is really convenient, though the view of the room facing the fall cannot really see the waterfall."

"💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! "An excellent stay. My second time. I was welcomed back like royalty. The staff were very friendly; and went above and beyond to make our stay better. The restaurant and spa were also a welcome treat! Much appreciated."

"Eins vorweg, das aktuell von Trip.com genutzte Bild zeigt ein anderes Hotel. Das Hotel Skoga hat ein dunkles Schrägdach und ist mittlerweile ziemlich abgewohnt. Dies ist, zusammen mit dem Preis, auch der größte Kritikpunkt. Ein altes Haus mit kleinen Zimmern für diesen Preis anzubieten ist einfach unverschämt, selbst für isländische Verhältnisse. Abgesehen vom Zustand des Gebäudes, den kleinen Zimmern und dem Preis gab es auch nichts auszusetzen, Sauberkeit und Frühstück waren in Ordnung. Für 50€ weniger pro Nacht wäre es vielleicht sogar eine Empfehlung wert, aber nicht unter diesen Umständen."

"We stayed in a little hut which was very cosy and warm even though it was quite cold outside. The hut was equipped with hot water, stove, water boiler and cutlery. Unfortunately no oven but that was totally fine. The location was perfect: a few minutes drive outside Hvollsvollür. Would totally stay there again ＜3"

"L'hotel si trova in posizione isolata nella campagna vicino il paese di hvosollur. C'è un ristorante all'interno con prezzi in linea con l'Islanda. La mattina c'è un ottima colazione a buffet con dolce e salato. La stanza era pulita e ben riscaldata. Ottimo per chi ama la natura, serve un auto per raggiungerlo."
