"Très belle expérience au The Fern à Ajmer. Le personnel a été particulièrement gentil, attentionné et toujours prêt à aider, ce qui rend le séjour vraiment agréable. L’hôtel est également très bien situé, ce qui facilite les déplacements et les visites. Les repas au restaurant de l’hôtel sont excellents, avec des plats savoureux et bien préparés. Le service en dining room est lui aussi très qualitatif, rapide et soigné. Petit plus : il y a un bar rooftop avec vue sur le lac. J’y suis allée en journée, c’était déjà très agréable, mais le soir l’ambiance doit être encore plus belle. Je recommande sans hésitation cet établissement pour un séjour à Ajmer."

"We stayed in Pushkar for the weekend of the annual mela and camel fair so the town was packed and hotel rooms were 3x the normal rate. Luckily we had booked 3 months in advance. We arrived around 6am from the night train (taxi arranged with hotel) and were relieved when told we would be able to check in immediately. As it was dark, we didn’t appreciate how beautiful the 100 year old building is. It almost feels like an Arabic riad with rooms surrounding a central courtyard. In the evening it is tastefully lit which emphasises the local art displayed on the walls. Ours was a standard room with fan which was very small- no room to walk for 2 people and little space to store bags. I looked in other rooms and most were a good size, some had balconies. I was offered a larger room on the ground floor but this lacked the communal balcony area we had so we stayed where we were. The room had no external windows so was quiet at night apart from a slight rattle on the fan which the manager said he would fix. The shower was hot and powerful. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the lake and Pushkar’s Main Street. It has a nice roof top restaurant serving vegan dishes. The manager speaks excellent English and was friendly and helpful. I’d recommend the hotel as a place to stay in Pushkar but check what type of room you’re booking if size is important."
