"King Arthur’s Arms is fabulously located next to a huge car park, yet on Fore Street, which is the Main Street running through Tintagel and about 3 minutes walk to the top of the hill leading down to English Heritage’s Tintagel Castle. On arrival we were checked in at the bar by Jess with a very friendly Cornish welcome. The smell of cleanliness emerged us as we walked up to our huge room with double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, easy chairs and huge bathroom with double walk in shower, sink, toilet and heated radiator. Huge room for Cornwall and immaculate. We chilled out and wandered along and around Tintagel Castle, then back to the pub for dinner. It’s an extensive menu with huge portions. There was no issue with pub noise and we slept well, waking for an extensive breakfast which commences with a choice of pastries and cereals, then Full English, teas, coffees and juices! We were then able to stay parked for a few hours after check out at 10am to wander around Tintagel. Really cannot recommend King Arthur’s Arms enough and particularly so to single parents with kids-safe, friendly and accommodating and shout out to Jess for super friendly service throughout!"

"Beautiful hotel grand entrance good history. Total let down on the bedroom the toilet and shower belongs in a 1960 caravan. Dirty carpet dirty walls. Dirty bed with ***** hair Certain didn’t fit the windows. I probably should have got an upgrade."

"Very pleasant stay. Quirky room but had everything I needed. Window opened out over the seating area at the front so it felt a little less than private and I did get the occasional whiff of tobacco smoke. Dinner and breakfast were very good."

"The hotel is in a nice area, but unfortunately the parking situation is terrible. There is one parking lot on a sloped road, owned by the hotel, which we didn't know we could use. Very narrow road and not clearly signaled. The other parking close by only accepts coins. Room is small. Worth staying for the view, which is breathtaking."

"Posizionato tra i boschi, molto tranquillo, pulizia eccellente e camere spaziose. Colazione ricca e gustosa. Il personale molto attento, gentile e premuroso. Unico appunto da fare è sulla qualità delle rete wi-fi nella camera 10 dove abbiamo soggiornato, wi-fi indispensabile vista la mancanza di connessione alla rete dati nella zona."
