"The hotel is very large, so I understand it can be challenging for the cleaning staff to maintain cleanliness everywhere. However, I noticed that the pictures online look a bit nicer (spotless) compared to the actual condition. Room 244 had an extra heater, which I really appreciated — it was the best part of the stay, as the room stayed warm and comfortable during the night. That said, there was some dust on the bedside table, and the toilet was not very clean. This was actually the first time I needed to clean the toilet seat myself in a hotel. I also noticed that some rooms seem much nicer and better maintained than others. The staff service was okay, and I found the breakfast very convenient — it saved me time before going out to visit places."

"Nice hotel room with a nice view. Only downside was the parking space was quite small. Finding parking was difficult. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much."

"The room was satisfactory— not too big, but certainly larger than those found in chain hotels. The location was lovely; however, the standard room we received had a view of the parking lot. Due to the wooden floors, we were able to hear other guests walking around quite easily. The sauna and steam facilities were enjoyable, but it would have been great to have a bit more menthol or some options to help eliminate the smell of sweat. "First the positives. The room was very clean, comfortable and bathroom was obviously recently refurbished. Breakfast was excellent and good value, but more on that later. Now the not so good, or could do better! The check in policy is ludicrous, I understand they need to have a designated check in time, but whilst waiting (40 minutes) I overheard the staff clearly stating that all rooms were ready for guests, but as people were entering the reception they were informed that check was not possible until 3pm and they had to wait or pay £10.00 for an early check in! The result was a packed reception and when they did commence check in, due to a “new system “ it was painfully slow! Very poor customer service. The breakfast was good value, but the attitude of the cashier guy was poor at best, probably rude if to be defined. On approaching him I was asked “ breakfast for two “ to which I replied “ no there’s only one” to which he snapped “ well I’m not to know that!” Not expected and yes rude!"

"I Booked the 2 bed suite for 3 of us cousins for a get together. Absolutely beautiful. Everything was spotless, both bedrooms have en suites, tea, coffee sugar and milk provided. Downstairs in the pub/ restaurant, we had food and drinks which was lovely. We have already decided to rebook for October"

"We stayed in Room18. Landlady was very helpful, polite and let my kids play on the pool table. Abit of a pain with the parking but allowed me to use their personal car space which was very kind, even offered to pay for my parking ticket to start with. Hallways are warm and well lit. I would stay here again. Thank you"
