Rustic Inn

Fix the blinds I was just there overnight to sleep, so I knew with the cheap price there would be some compromises. The heating system was great, and there was enough to watch on tv. Sink was fine as was toilet. My only 2 complaints are the busted up mini blind on the door. I was in room 5. Mine was bad enough that people could see inside. The tub was yucky, but I didn’t need to shower, so I didn’t use it. No funny smells, and clean enough.

I enjoyed how clean the room was. Parking was tough but acceptable. Quiet until people next door arrived. Will be telling my co. board to approve this site.

This place was excellent, very clean throughout with all the basics bed, bathroom, seating, table, fridge, micro and coffee making fully functional. This is not fine dining, more like a favourite diner and priced accordingly. I arrived late, and after snowfall to a warm room with the parking and doorway cleared.

Highly recommend this place If you ever get a chance to stay in Park Rapids, MN I highly recommend Rustic Inn!! It's like staying in a house not a hotel/ motel. It's like staying in a log cabin.... the room is so comfortable and gorgeous!!!

Safety Risk Before checking in, I received a text that my motel door would be open with a key inside. This concerned me because what if someone else got inside the room in the meantime? When I arrived at the room, it was tough to lock my door. The door did not line up with the door frame very well. I sent a text to the motel to let them know this, but there was no response. In addition, the room was freezing the entire night. The heater did not seem to work well. And, my room was situated near a main road, so I could hear traffic most of the night while I was trying to sleep. The room was clean and affordable enough, but work needs to be done to ensure guest safety and comfort.

The new remodeled rooms were tastefully done and cozy!
