Je cherche à noter qqch de positif...euh peut-être la situation géographique qui est bonne, mais il n'y a ABSOLUMENT rien d'autre. Les lieux sont sales, moisissures dans les salles de bain en plus d être sales, bruits des portes toutes la nuit...matelas durs comme du cailloux et pas propres. Et en plus de tout cela, les personnes de la réception sont absolument exécrables et non professionnels...de grands malhonnêtes. Je ne citerai pas tout ce qu'il s'est passé car ce serait trop long et nous étions pas les seuls à se plaindre le jour de notre arrivée. D'ailleurs en arrivant dans notre chambre, nous avons eu la surprise de voir qu'un des lits était occupé par une autre personne...bref on n'y remettra jamais les pieds.

El hostel está muy céntrico , está limpio y el trato genial .La verdad que repetiría en volver a alojarme allí. Tiene una estación de metro muy cerca, lo cual te facilita los desplazamientos.Es también una zona muy tranquila

This hostel is LOUD on the inside...and I mean LOUD. You cannot close the door quietly: this means that all night long, you can hear people opening and closing the doors. The wood floors give the area an acoustic strength that would be amazing for a concert venue. unfortunately, it's a hotel....not a rock show. Moreover, it's a haul going up and down the steps. Don't book the hotel if you have some kind of foot injury, because you'll regret it. The staff...most of them don't seem to care at all about the place. This might reflect the management? Who knows...the majority are apathetic at best. Even if you're in an emergency situation, think twice...

Unlike most hostels in big tourist cities, they charge for every thing that is given for free in other hostels: to rent towels they charge the rent + a deposit amount and even if you return the towels in good condition as expected, if you do not present a tiny receipt paper that you hand in at the entrance, the deposit amount is not refunded. . Unlike most hostels, there are no bathroom options inside the dorms, just a shower. . Room keys stop working whenever they are near electronic devices (I had to "reset" my room access card twice in three days... never seen this in any other hostel). So if you leave your room at night to go to the bathroom, sometimes you can't open the door when you return) . Unlike most hostels, there are no sockets near all the beds (if you are on the bottom bunk, for example, you will have to charge your devices away from the bed) . The alarm went off at around 4:45 am and all guests had to go downstairs and wait at reception until confirmation that everyhting was ok. I imagine it must happen often . Rooms with very cramped showers and no cloths on the floor, leaving everything always very wet . Unlike other hostels that have a cleaning team to do this after checkouts, they want you to hand over the sheets at checkout. This is usually the hotel's obligation and no one asks for this: you have to go down the cramped stairs (because there is no elevator) with suitcases and still carrying sheets to catch early flights/trains - Positive points: .It is well located in a relatively safe area of ​​Paris (with a 30-minute walk you can reach the Trocadero/Eiffel Tower, for example). . There are many useful shops nearby: franprix (a market 100 meters away), a laundry 50 meters away and numerous restaurants around (pizza hut, typical french boulangeries etc) . The public bathrooms appear to be regularly cleaned. To sum up: there are countless other more modern options in Paris with fair prices, further away than this hotel from the most central arrondissements, such as Generator and Le Village (which I recommend). This can be worked around, as the Paris metro system is very strong and you can find a station on every corner. The only thing that makes this hostel stand is the location, and even then it's not worth staying there.
