Hotel de La Loire

The ´Studio’ room at this residence, also called King Bed’ bed room - is right at the main building entrance. This big inconvenience - which is not mentioned at all within the booking site - means that from early morning, and also late at night, all the exits and entires (complete with clacking of the entry door, loud conversations on the way in/out, etc) are fully audible during the whole stay, which will be enough to awaken the deepest of sleepers. Not only that. The room also has its window overlooking the street with a public bench right across, and every night the unlucky guest therein will be treated to conversations into the early hours of the morning. It is a shame that the management does not inform you of these things at the time of the reservation. And it’s a real shame that they rent this room out in the first place, it should have been used as an office of storage room that her than selling it to unknowing travelers.

Cute, well-configured hotel room. Small, but efficient with everything you need. Spacious bathroom. Great shower. Nice kitchenette with stovetop, microwave, small refrigerator, and cabinets stocked with dishes, tableware, coffee cups, wine glasses, cutlery, and a few pans. The Nespresso coffee maker makes a nice rendition of Parisian coffee. The bathroom has toiletries, shampoo and bodywash, and fluffy towels and a towel warmer. The "rain" style shower is spacious, and the water flow is strong and hot. Room was very clean upon our arrival. Convenient to a quiet neighborhood with several bistros/cafés, a patisserie, and small shops. Very secure facility. A code gets you in the front door, and a second code gets you in your room. There is a peaceful courtyard that is great for reading or just taking in the quiet. One flaw: television in English is limited. But again, one might expect that in Paris. We stayed here for three nights and loved this little hotel.
