Un séjour de 4 nuits dans cet hôtel... Accueil sympathique, chambre assez confortable et personnels au top.... Je recommande.

방은 많이 좁은데 침대가 커서 둘이서 쓰기 좋았습니다! 데스크도 매우 친절하셨어요. 위치는 파리 주요 관광지에서 조금 멀긴 한데 바로 앞에 지하철역이 있어서 이동하는데 불편함은 없었습니다.

The hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment and has also changed its name to Hotel Felio (but hasn't updated its website or advised tourist operators of this) so it still shows up as Hotel De Charonne. Hotel is 3 min walk from the metro station Reu De Boulets. The rooms are very small but clean. Breakfast is very minimal - no cereals available. OK if staying for one night.

We have stayed at the hotel for one night and had water leakage in the bathroom. We got back to our room after dinner and was met with a leakage from the toilet. The leakage was very small, but we went down to tell the receptionist. He came back upstairs with us to have a look, and told us to just put towels around the toilet and by the door, so this is what we did. When we woke up the next morning, the leakage had got a lot worse, and the bathroom floor was flooded. The water was also coming into the bedroom where our stuff has been, so most of our stuff was soaking wet and unusable. We went down to the reception, once again, to let them know about the worsening of the leakage. Two men came upstairs to look at it, but they could not do anything. We have not been able to use the toilet or the shower because of this, and we have not been offered new towels, as all of our other towels are on the floor trying to soak up all the water - unsuccessfully. The morning after, after a looong while, we were offerd a new room so we could shower, but could not have the room for more than one hour. And was not offers any place to dry our clothes. We had to pack our soaking wet stuff in our suitcases and this ruined some of our clothes and stuff. One week later we got an answer on our mail. That we could get a 10% discount on our next stay. No apology, no refund and no service. Would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Location is on a quiet street if you prefer a peaceful stay and sleep in the nighttime. It is close to Metro station and surprisingly there are many good cafe restaurants at major street corners, markets that open late night. One major setback for this hotel is no air-conditioning in the small room which is difficult during the hot months in Paris. I suggested to the hotel to install permanent fans in ceiling rather than the portable fan on desk which does not provide adequate ventilation. The location is great if you want to know what it is like living in Paris, and not be in a bustling tourist area!

The hotel was opposite a hostel that was full of men, these men where ‘cat calling’ and shouting stuff at us across the road when we were sat on our balcony or even just had the doors open. There were lots of people begging in the area, if you were to walk to or from the hotel in the evening or at night they all stopped you for your attention. The room had carpet and was not hoovered at all, the toilet had stains, the bath/ shower had limescale and grime in between the tiles, the walls were dirty and stained, the balcony has astro turf which had not been brushed. We requested no housekeeping every day yet after returning from 12 hours out in the day, the bed had been made and towels refreshed. Still no hoovering completed or cleaning of the bathroom. We didn’t feel comfortable with people entering our room while we weren’t there, yet they still did after requesting not too. There was also no circulation in the room, just the doors onto the balcony which were unsafe to have open at night and one small fan which didn’t move, the room was too hot and there was no way to regulate. The breakfast is €13pp per day. It was a small selection of a bread and a croissant, 3 spreads, butter and yoghurt in the fridge, a ham, a cheese, 3 cereals, water and orange juice. No pancakes or wider selection as pictured on the website. We visited the patisserie around the corner which offered much more and came to less than €13pp. Sadly, would not recommend this hotel.
