Valtos Beach Hotel

Had a lovely week there. Staff were amazing and the hotel was superb. Great views and right on the beach. There were quite alot of stairs to get to the room but parga is built around a mountain so expect to do alot of walking anyway. We would highly reccomend this hotel and would definately stay here again. (Would be even more amazing if you made it adults only hotel👍). Many thanks to all at valtos beach hotel.

Please don’t book here if you have any mobility issues, no lifts and steps everywhere, we stayed b&b and contrary to other reviews the breakfast is poor quality, if you don’t like an omelette from the egg station your in trouble , the pool is small with a big tide mark. The hotel has a very busy road outside which you have to cross to get to the beach area , There is very little to do around the hotel just a couple of hotels and a very poor mini market . We had a terrible meal in the restaurant and informed the staff which fell on deaf ears, we never ate there again or bothered with drinks etc after that. We would never go back very disappointed

Lovely seaside hotel, nice staff, clean surroundings, great breakfast, short walk to Parga center, great views from hotel, lovely beach area. Pool a bit small and crowded. Sunbeds reserved by beach towels all day long at beach and poolside.

We had the most wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. We had a studio room which was very nice. It was cleaned daily and was very comfortable. The best thing about the room however was the incredible panoramic view we had of the sea and Parga castle. It really was mesmerising! The only downside to our room was the WIFI was terrible. We couldn’t get any kind of signal at all inside the room, we had to sit on the balcony any time we wanted to check emails or browse the web which really wasn’t ideal. The pool area is very nice but isn’t the biggest. Because of this, it would be good if they enforced the no reserving of sunbeds as it says on the signs. Very annoying to come down and see most of the sunbeds with towels on them but people nowhere to be seen. The beach is very nice too, but as the sunbeds I assume are owned by the hotel, it seems a bit harsh to charge their guests for the use of them. They do this in the way that each person has to spend €10 on food and drink. The staff were all so friendly and helpful which made us feel very welcome. Food at the hotel was also lovely and we enjoyed everything we had there. We often had dinner in town which is about a 10/15 min walk. I think the walk looks much steeper than it actually is, so don’t he put off by it, it’s worth the effort!! We would absolutely return to this fab hotel, we really enjoyed our stay and have fallen in love with Parga. Can’t wait to go back!!

We stayed in room 132 which had two spacious bedrooms and a lovely big terrace with a view of the sea. The hotel was an excellent base for a stay in Valtos. The staff were very friendly and helpful, special shout out to the young man who delivered drinks during the day and who served with a smile and remembered my favourite tropical smoothie. The hotel is a stones throw away from a beautiful beach. You can choose to hire sun loungers for the day or sit at the end where it’s sandy. The hotel serves great food and there are other places to eat if you fancy a change by walking up the hill to the Parga main town. The walk is around 10 minutes or the water taxi is quite fun - €3 per person. The housekeeping team are excellent and very hard working, a clean room every day feels like such a luxury. Although not a small hotel it has a great family feel and never felt crowded. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, we hope to return soon!

What an amazing place with amazing staff! The staff were so lovely and helpful. When we arrived we were personally greeted and the lovely reception staff gave a really informative chat giving us an overview of the hotel and the area. We had 2 rooms, both with very comfortable beds. Both rooms had air conditioning and a fridge. They were cleaned and tidied every day by an amazing housekeeping team. We had B&B and the choices at breakfast were amazing. You really must try the omelette! The restaurant food is lovely. The beach is just gorgeous and only 1 minute from the hotel. Nice walk over to Parga, only takes 10-15 mins. Stunning views along the way. There is a water taxi from Valtos to Parga and is only €3 pp and a lovely way to get there and back. They run every 30mins. Parga is a lovely place too. Absolutely amazing hotel and staff, perfect...10/10.

Het hotel is mooi, modern, schoon en ligt aan het strand al moet je wel een paar trappen trotseren. Het personeel in het Hotel, het restaurant, het restaurant aan het strand en de bediening op het strand zijn super vriendelijk en lopen regelmatig rond, zodat je een lekker drankje of lunch kunt bestellen. Ook halen ze regelmatig de gebruikte bekers op zodat het netjes blijft. De leiding lijkt goed voor het personeel en is zelf veel aanwezig. Het eten is erg goed!!! Dit komt allemaal vanuit dezelfde keuken in het hotel. Respect voor de bediening en kok. *Slechts 1 minpunt en die is belangrijk!!* Er zijn te weinig bedden op het strand. Kom je na 10:00, dan geen bedje. Het hotel heeft halverwege onze 1e week ongeveer 30-50 bedden moeten verwijderen van de gemeente. Geen vergunning? Niet voor betaald? De badgasten leiden hieronder. Wij zien nu dat mensen bij de ingang moeten wachten. Ze laten helaas nog steeds niet-hotelgasten toe. Dat is een slechte zaak. De vriendelijkheid zal je in de hele regio opmerken. De Grieken weten hoe je de toerist moet verwennen.

Seen previous review. Stayed at the same time. Do not agree. Waitress service was great at the beach. We were usually on the beach early and I would say that the first two rows always had beach towels on them first thing and often people didn’t arrive until after 11am. Good on the hotel if they did move towels. They had a policy and warned people what they would do if sunbeds were saved and left unattended for a long period. Food was always of good standard. View from hotel great. Rooms clean. There were some aggressive people who felt entitled to be on the front rows of the beach.

Our first stay at this hotel with my family of 10 . We had the most amazing time a great welcome from the hotel staff and Christos. . Rooms were beautiful with sea view cleaned everyday with pool towels/beach bag/decent hairdryer and iron. The staff at this hotel are amazing from bar/beach staff to all the waiters etc so friendly always smiling and so efficient . Aphrodite and all the beach girls/guys were so good bringing you all that you could want . The food at this hotel is as good as most of the top restaurants in Parga and beautiful eating area too . Although not a small hotel it is run with a personal touch all the family talk to you and are so lovely . Nice although hilly walk to Parga but well worth it for the views . We fell in love with Parga and have already booked to return to valtos next year . Thank you valtos beach for a fantastic holiday
