Princessa Vera Hotel Apartments

We stayed in the Princessa Vera in November 24 it was was birthday treat and we were not dissapointed. The hotel is in a in a great spot for everything with the beach being a small walk away. From the moment we booked in till we booked out our stay was perfect and peaceful. We stayed in room 323 which was perfect and had a see veiw which i was delighted with. Our very large studio had everything in it to make our stay perfect. The beds were super comfortable, pillows were super comfortable ans we had out room cleaned everyday, clean towels as and when we needed them we even had toiletries in the bathroom with a huge walk in shower. It also has everything in it to do self catering if needed, they even had washing up liquid and dish cloths in the kitchen area. All the staff from the Manager, the reception staff , bar staff and housekeepers were a 100% attentive at all times nothing was a bother and always with a smile. We had such a fantastic holiday we are booking to come back in November for another peaceful and relaxed winter break. Doug & Denise room 323.

This is an excellent Hotel in a great area with everything on hand. The staff are lovely & so hard working with a special mention to the young lady on reception who really helped us on the night we arrived & had lost one of our hand luggage . She went out of her way to find it for us & we were so grateful ☺️ Also Denisa & Danny who were always happy & hard working . Christos the manager was a friendly chap who always had time for the guests . The Hotel is very clean but our only negative unfortunately was the cleaning of our room. We stayed for 3 weeks & although the cleaners were in every day it was never cleaned properly. The bed was made every day & the bare minimum done but the floors were not swept or mopped as we had the same stains on the tiles & hair where I dried my hair for weeks . Also on a few occasions we went into the room to find the cleaners sat on our balcony smoking. It unfortunately spoilt it for us.

Shorty break Booked this hotel last minute as a short break away from the uk rain. The location of the hotel is really good as there are plenty of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk, the shopping mall is approx a 5 minute walk and Pafos harbour between 15 and 20 mins. The hotel is 3 star which is probably slightly underrated. The decor is good and everywhere is immaculately clean although parts could do with a bit of a makeover ie mirrors losing their edges, cushions in the living areas of the apartments and pictures on the walls The staff are mostly very helpful and the bar staff are really friendly. My only issue we had was on checkout day. Our flight wasn’t until 11pm and we’d asked if we could keep our room, which we were told was possible but to ask on the morning we were leaving. As we left our room for breakfast on our last day we met a cleaner and she asked if we were leaving that day to which we said yes but we’re hoping to keep the room on. She checked on her hand terminal and told us that no one was booked in so she could see no reason why not, however when we asked the gentleman on reception, he didn’t even check their system and said ‘no’ and we had to be out by 12pm. We spoke to a few other people who were leaving the same day, and the same thing had happened to them. As they charged €35 to keep the room, this seems to be money they are throwing away for no reason. They do offer showers in the gym but you can’t even book a time slot to use them.
