The Fern Residency, Miramar

I had a great experience staying at Fern . Gautami,Varsha and Samir from front desk made me feel at home and Shaan in F&B is a great host and helped me in choosing the best vegetarian options for my meals. Had a conversation with driver Abusab. This is the first time I stayed with Fern .

Location - The hotel location is good (not fancy). Few key places are nearby & walkable. That makes a world of a difference. Hotel - Overall, the hotel is basic. Nothing fancy. It has all the basics you need. Goo & clean room. All bathroom amenities. A good breakfast. Breakfast - The complimentary breakfast is good with all basic options present. Room - Room is good & clean. I got one with a balcony so I could enjoy the cold breeze at night. The kettle seemed outdated & old. I had issues with hot water at night despite housekeeping trying to fix it. They did offer me a hot water bucket. Later on, found out that there was a communication gap & that hot water would have been available if I had kept the tap running for 20-25 mins (this issue comes up at late night due to cold weather outside). They did sincerely try to fix it. However, the hotel manager later did communicate the exact scenario & that's when I realized it wasn't a hotel problem, but more of a communication gap from the housekeeping person in the night shift. Bathroom amenities were from Biotique. So, those are good quality. Restaurant - I had lunch at the restaurant & the food was very good. I rated the hotel 4 starts for the return at that price point.

Decent hotel and serves the purpose for a business travel. The room feeling is okayish with standard decors. The staff is very courteous and kind enough. Located at a good neighbour hood will have to careful to be tracking this hotel on Google maps

The hotel lacks basic facilities that we expect from this kind of property at this price point. There is no dedicated Parking of Hotel, you have to Park your car on Road. Rooms are too small, there is no full size mirror available in room, no hair dryer in Bathroom. Very poor basic service. While checking out, at the counter I asked for some water to drink to which they replied "Will you pay by cash or Online". Worst experience ever in any Fern Hotel Chain

Everything was awesome except wifi connection. I was living in 302 room on 3rd floor around which there was no proper wifi connection apart from that everything was excellent. Food was excellent. Room was absolutely great. Infrastructure was fabulous.

Rooms are crampy, old furniture and smelly beds and the hotel is next to residential complex a garbage dump place not a good feeling when you go in monsoon to Goa. Approch to the hotel is also not pleasant by road as you have a bad road experinec waiting.
