Not for me

They weren't expecting me, and the room wasn't ready. Renovations started at 7am, and the banging was annoying. Despite this, I would stay again. The hosts were lovely and very apologetic. Their dogs were friendly. I only required a bed to sleep in and a cup of tea in the morning.

Chris and Deb's Economy Double Room definitely exceeds expectations. My partner and I were expecting a smaller dingy little space with adequate sleeping arrangements and basic facilities. What we were met with was a very helpful Chris (We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Deb) who clearly takes pride in the space and hosting guests. The bed is comfortable and the room clean with all the usual expected amenities of a mid level hotel room. Recently they have also added a coffee machine which is a great touch and really appreciated. While the toilet and shower facilities are shared with the owners, they still feel somewhat private. There's no walking through to the other end of the house. They are on the other side of the (downstairs) walkway so you can duck in and out easily. They aren't hotel grade but for anyone agreeable with standard facilities they adequate, functional and comfortable. If I'm ever back up on the Sunshine Coast and in need of a place to stay I'll definitely keep this option in the forefront of my mind.

We just spent two relaxing days at this cottage. The hosts were friendly, helpful and non intrusive. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable and well resourced and the meals..Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. We are already planning a return visit.

This was a very enjoyable experience from arrival to departure. We were greeted on arrival by the owner who gave us a good overview of the property and the surroundings. The house was situated on a hill with a nice view, the rooms were cosy and the restaurant that was recommended for us, Rick's Garage, was perfect as we are car enthusiasts. We only stayed one night and we wish we could have been there longer especially after having a fantastic breakfast in the morning before leaving. We will be back for a longer stay!

We had a very relaxing few days at this cute and comfy B&B in Palmwoods, up the hill from the beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches. The Cottage was just what we wanted as a couple (plus pooch). Host Chris made us very welcome and cooked a delicious breakfast each morning of our stay. Ideally located for exploring both country and coast.
