We stayed for 4 nights March 3rd - 7th March 2025. We booked and paid extra for a pool view room, we got a view of the children’s splash pool as we were put in a corner room, couldn’t really see the main pool. (That offered more sun on the balcony for a longer part of the day) Reception staff were not very friendly, didn’t greet us warmly, no enjoy your stay etc. Some staff I must say are more friendly than others we found during our stay, it would be nice if all the staff were as friendly to us guests. No help to our room we were left to find it ourselves. We elected to hire a safe, we could have purchased it for the money we paid to hire it for 4 nights, €42 with a €10 euros deposit!! Our Room Our room was clean and tidy with a complimentary Globales carrier bag left on the bed for us. We had notified Jet2 it was our belated Ruby wedding anniversary, the hotel had been notified but at no time during our stay did anyone mention our anniversary. Our wardrobe had damage to it, we assumed where previous guests climb on the bottom lip to get to the very high shelf in the wardrobe. Also the spline of wood running up one of the doors was coming away with an exposed screw at the top. We were surprised that at the beginning of the holiday season we would find damage as this should have been taken care of during close season. There are kettles in the room and a few complimentary tea and coffee sachets with two creamer jiggers. TV is a large one and on the wall showing some British tv (High Chapperal and The New Avengers to name two!) The glass bathroom door had no lock (assume that is normal as last year we had no lock in another hotel down the road to this one?) Would have been nice though for the door to close to properly as it popped open and wouldn’t stay closed to. The bed bases as someone else said seem flimsy, but the mattresses were of a very good quality, nice and firm not saggy at all. When we arrived in our room it felt very warm in there so I tried to turn on the air con, I couldn’t get it to work, so I rang down to reception where I was told that the air con is not on at the moment as she said it is cold in Spain. Jet2 do not notify guests of this in their holiday listing for this hotel I think guests need to be made aware of this. This is obviously a hotel room and around the size of a Premier Inn style double room, so not a huge room, the bed being quite close to the doors to the balcony had no privacy as there was no net curtain at the balcony doors. The curtains were of a good blackout type so if you wanted privacy and closed them it was pitch dark in your room! For short breaks in the UK we stay in Premier Inns so not 4* but perfectly adequate, so when we saw this hotel was a 4* we were excited to stay. The walls of the hotel rooms (see other reviews of this hotel too) are “paper thin” we could hear everything the family next door said to each other! We have never stayed in hotel rooms with such poor insulation between rooms. I
