Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort and Spa

I’ve been to the Tideline countless times, and the reason I keep returning is because of the phenomenal service from Frank (lead bartender/manager) and Jorge (bartender). Frank has been here the longest, and his dedication shines every single visit. His professionalism, smile, and the way he crafts drinks especially the custom Cucumber cocktail he made for me, one of the most refreshing drinks I’ve ever had set the standard for true hospitality. Jorge is also an outstanding bartender, always attentive, genuine, and welcoming. Together, Frank and Jorge are the heartbeat of Tideline and the reason guests like myself come back time and time again. Unfortunately, the current management group doesn’t bring the same warmth, acknowledgment, or connection. It makes the incredible service from Frank and Jorge stand out even more. Frank and Jorge truly represent what hospitality is all about, and Tideline is lucky to have them.

I booked an 80 minute massage with a couple of add ons and a facial at the spa. I arrived at 10:30am for 11:00 appointment and was shown to their “relaxation area” which i just a few chairs just off the lobby. There a table with tea bags and a pedestal for water and space for snacks (which are promised on the website) but no water to drink nor make tea. At 11:18 I returned to the reception desk to see what was going on with my appointment and the you d woman had no idea. She had no name tag on and told me she was brand new and told me I could go ask at the front desk. I asked instead to speak to a manager and was told that Bibi wasn’t on today but she could give me Bibi’s phone number. I asked who the manager on duty was and was informed there wasn’t one. I proceeded to the front desk and spoke to Michelle who was very polite and she said she’d get Marco. While waiting for Marco an employee emerged from the back and she looked like a spa employee so I asked if she was the therapist and she said “yeah” and then tried to go back out back. I asked if she was the person booked for my services and she said “probably”. I asked if there was a reason I was still waiting at 11:22 and she informed me that “if you don’t want to wait that’s fine”. That she didn’t care whether or not I got a massage. Just at this time (11:28) Marco appeared as Barbara the therapist was stalking out the front of the spa and declared “she ain’t getting no services”. Marco was polite and apologized for the “inconvenience”. All in all i wasted a full hour, plus 30 minutes travel in each direction to sit in a crummy broken down space. DO NOT RECOMMEND! I did text Bibi and received zero response.

Very nice hotel. Service was excellent. Michelle t reception give us the best greeting upon arrival . Food and drinks by the beach was top class. Great espresso martinis. The pool was exceptional and lots of shaded areas . Beach front restaurant and in a great location
