Bugs! Huge bugs. I have visited different Greek islands & I know Greece has bugs but this place was crazy! Massive things & we had to sit inside on an evening They were about in the day making a nuisance but came out in force early evening like an army & put you inside. Apart from that which I did try my best to put aside the hotel & grounds are very well maintained. Pool areas & views are beautiful. We were upgraded to a private bungalow suite with pool & it was gorgeous (apart from the bugs). The hotel had a couple of restaurants which the Italian was great & the buffet was fine for breakfast but evening buffet wasn’t the best. There was also a bit of a weird pressure about paying immediately if ordered drinks in the buffet as some people were All Inc & some half board it was just a bit unorganised. We found a nice restaurant nearby instead Vardiani. There isn’t much around the hotel & Xi beach has pretty much disappeared. Another thing to note is the ferry crossing to lixouri. You are waiting for a ferry if this was in height of summer it would be a nightmare with luggage & children. Also worth mentioning nobody helps with luggage on & off ferry so if you had mobility problems this would be a massive issue I would think. Kefalonia is beautiful & was a nice hotel (did not enjoy the bugs)!

We have been accommodated in a vila with privete pool and greater pool for few vilas which helped us enjoy time with kids in our own pace and private place. However the three other big pools were fun simply because the entertainer and his team made our time great dancing and having great fun. Beautiful client service people in the reception and restaurant especially Gabriela who guided us always and had nice words for the children. The hotel is at 5-7 min walking distance from gourgeous XI beach with its red sand and rocky edges. Overall a great summer holiday and experience with children.

Just back from having spent 11 nights All Inclusive at this very good hotel. Travelled here with wife and 2 children aged 8 and 12. Arrived late (around 10:15) but once checked in, a snack bag for each of us was delivered to our room. We had a Deluxe Family Room - 2 beds downstairs and a further 2 beds upstairs. So nice we all had a proper bed to sleep in. Room (and in fact the rest of the hotel) was absolutely spotless. Bed linen and towels changed a number of times whilst we were there. Food was great - plenty of choice and good quality. We never thought 'what are we having tonight?' Meal times can be busy - we found 08:30 was a good time for breakfast and 20:30 was a good time for dinner. We had our lunches at the Delice Snack Bar and this was perfect for what we wanted. We had a fantastic included meal at the Italian - there was a set menu to choose from but plenty of choice. Shout out to Christian our waiter who was superb. We didn't goto the main pool as the smaller pool was nearer our room. We had to put a towel down for around 08:30 to ensure we got a decent spot but as the hotel was busy we kind of expected this. The pool guy Mohammed popped up everywhere - he works so hard and always had a smile on his face. Had a couple of small maintenance issues with our room but they came out pretty much straight away and got things sorted. For anyone booking this hotel as part of a package holiday - don't be put off by the transfer - it was seamless and the ferry from Argostoli to Lixouri broke up the journey. All in all - highly recommend this hotel.
