Clarks Safari Jawai

We had a pleasant stay at Clarks Safari Resort, and the staff put in good effort to make us comfortable within the resources they have in such outback locations. The room was adequately sufficient for a couple and most facilities were available in the room. The google maps location needs an update and being located in a remote area, the road direction signage certainly needs improvement. A pleasant stay.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The place was incredibly comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their hospitality and service were top-notch, making our experience truly enjoyable. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect stay. Definitely a 10/10 experience!

Es war ein toller Ausflug und die Tempelanlage war beeindruckend. Wir wurden super von unseren Guide betreut und hatten einen tollen Tag. Leider fand der Ausflug an einem Montag statt, so dass wir die obere Plattform (im Vorfeld bekannt) nicht betreten konnten. Nichtsdestotrotz hat sich der Besuch und die lange Fahrt gelohnt.

A really nice retreat, located on a small track that keeps the crowds away, surrounded by local granite hills that probably have leopards right at the doorstep, and provide a spectacularsunset spectacle. The private cabins are very comfortable, with fans, a/c, doors for cross-ventilation, and a gigantic bathroom with good hot water. The staff are friendly, speak excellent English, know about the local wildlife, and prepared us some wonderful food. All in all, it's a very relaxing spot (and we did a morning safari and saw two leopards as a bonus). Highly recommended.

We have just had the absolute pleasure of staying at Clark’s Safari in Jawai and we simply can’t fault it. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by the entire staff, who constantly went out of their way to ensure we were happy. Upon arrival (in the evening) the staff spent time pointing out a leopard and her cubs in the hills just behind the resort, which was an extraordinary sight. Particularly so close to our accommodation! We settled in with a cup of masala tea before going to the restaurant for dinner, and what a pleasant surprise that was! Rahul was an excellent host and the food was exceptional. We opted for fresh spring rolls and a local chicken curry, which was by far the best curry I’ve ever eaten. It was so good that we ordered the exact same meal the following night! Rahul and the entire restaurant staff were all very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and dining there was an absolute pleasure. Our room was spacious and well appointed with air conditioning, a super comfortable bed and a large bathroom with excellent amenities. We slept so well every night! Clark’s organised our safari’s and they were such a highlight. The sunrise safari was not far from the resort and we had an experienced driver/tracker. The landscape was so unique and beautiful. The evening safari was near Sena and was incredibly picturesque. Our driver/tracker was very skilled and passionate, and our leopard viewing on this safari was amazing, as was the sunset view over Jawai Dam. A big thank you to Shishupal who is an exceptional manager. We witnessed him leading his staff with such kindness and respect. We were so thankful that he joined us on our evening safari to act as our translator. Again he was very kind and respectful to our driver/tracker and he ensured our safari was such a memorable one. His kindness ***** with the skill of our very competent driver ensured that our safari was very exciting, with some very adventurous driving and a great sighting of a leopard. This was a real highlight of our trip. I think what we loved most about our stay was the genuine kindness of the staff and the rustic charm of the resort. If you’re looking to switch off from the outside world and be enveloped by stunning scenery, then I could not recommend Clark’s highly enough. Under Shishupal’s fine leadership, you are in the safest and kindest hands in an unforgettable place. Clark’s and Jawai will be etched in our memories forever. Thank you!

We made a last minute decision to go to Jawai. We chose Clarks, because of the value that the name carries and great value that the property seemed to offer. Once we reached the property, the welcome and hospitality of the Clarks team led ably by Himmat Singh made us feel instantly at home. Highlights - Organised a well coordinated Morning Safari for us at a 8:30 pm request. - Finger Licking home cooked thali served beside a bonfire and an immaculate outdoor service. Leaving us with a unique experience. Special mention to Rahul for creating this moment for us - Last but not the least the breakfast and the clean rooms made the trip memorable for us. After visiting Clarks I now strongly believe that it is the people that create the experience. Property and amenities are an added benefit.Clarks checks both Highly recommended and yes we spotted leopard as well !!! Go check it out
