This was our first time at the resort. We stayed October 6th-13th 2024 to celebrate my birthday. We paid slightly extra to have a room with a pool/sea view, which is exactly what we got (photo attached) and got our own pretty much private small pool with a beautiful sea view. The room was a decent size (room 333) and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The bathroom had a very small shower and an odd burning smell which we couldn’t get rid of. Our room was separate from the main resort and a short walk up a very steep hill. At times the local stray cats would come and spend time with us around our pool. The room didn’t include any kettle/tea making services, but did have a small fridge. No safe is provided, but you can pay 15€ per week to use a safe in the hotels reception. The room was cleaned daily to a great standard. The location of the resort itself was not ideal. The closest village being Liapades, which is a 20 min walk up sharp inclines. You can get a shuttle bus provided by the hotel but these only run at 9am on certain days. You can get the bus from Liapades to Corfu town or Paleokastritas for 2€ but be careful coming back as the buses don’t always go all the way back to Liapades, leaving you to walk almost an hour back to the hotel. As with most all inclusive resorts, the food got quite repetitive, but each day there was a large variety of different choices. Mainly pasta, rice, salad and cakes and ice cream. The all inclusive drinks were very generous portions and mainly self serve. For some reason, the staff were very on and off, sometimes absolutely lovely cracking jokes, and other times very curt and rude. There were a couple of restaurants on the beach and a beach bar which isn’t part of the all inclusive but quite generous discounts. The food and drinks here are very nice and decently priced. There are a number of pools throughout the resort, but we only used the one outside our room which was lovely, but very cold! The resort is right on the beach where you’re free to swim or hire pedalos, kayaks or go on a boat trip. We chose to go on a boat tour one of the days and our tour guide was a lovely young lad and very knowledgable on the local caves and beaches. Unfortunately for us this had to be cut short as the waves became really choppy and I got scared! The view from the beach bar is attached - stunning! On some nights, they have themed nights at the beach bar. These were incredible, very chilled and fun. A photo is attached of the nights they offer. Unfortunately for us, the Greek night got cancelled due to the rain, which is a shame because that was on my birthday :(. As mentioned earlier, throughout the resort and beach bars, most staff weren’t very attentive or friendly. About 2 members of staff were lovely to us and seemed as though they wanted to help but we didn’t get their names. Other times, they would walk away halfway through serving you, make rude comments or tell you to ‘do it yourself’ when you ask
