Hotel Kpm Tripenta

My family and me were a part of a wedding group and accordingly my room was already allotted even before reached th hotel. Unfortunately when I reached the hotel at about 1630 hrs, the said room wasn't vaccated. The guest was overstaying or was permitted a late check out at my cost! I had to wait in a different room for close to 2 hrs before I got to check in in the allotted room. The reception desk was totally unprofessional and ridiculous. They couldnt even give me a firm time for me to iccupy the room! Each one of them had a different story trying to fool us. Lack of training was very much evident. You want an average stay and a below average service, near malampuzha dam, go for it. Thats all it offers. Yes the breakfast was a plus. Grow up team Tripenta or you will soon see just vaccant rooms and employees waiting to be laid off!

Staying here with friends for our college reunion was a big disappointment in regards to their rooms provided, and some of the services at the restaurant. The basic expectations of getting a clean room, clean bathrooms and having fresh water at the rooms or even providing water while having breakfast were not met. Some of the rooms were very small and cannot accommodate 3 people at all. The first room we got was not clean, was smelly and we had to request several times to get another better room. The bathrooms were really outdated with no proper towel hangers, nor enough towels for 3 people staying. The showers were not working properly. The staff looked overwhelmed at any request that was made and they said all were in training so felt they were not equipped to handle a huge crowd of more than 100 guests. We got locked in our rooms several times and had to call the staff to get it opened due to the room key getting stuck or locks loose. The only plus point was the outdoors areas which was well maintained and spacious and the lawn area inside the hotel. The staff was courteous, no doubt about it. Definitely not a high end resort - mainly just a regular hotel , expensive for the price we had to pay

It's a big size property. Very responsive staff. South indian breakfast. Maintained neat and clean.

I stayed with my family (wife and two kids) from 1st to 3rd july 2022. I usually don't write detailed reviews, but in this case, i feel it's quite necessary so that the hotel management takes corrective actions soon. The stay and experience at this hotel were terrible, and spoiled the mood of our vacation. We faced too many issues at the hotel 1) we were allotted a room in the 3rd floor initially. We saw many cockroaches in the room. My kids were scared, and we informed the same to the hotel reception. They shifted us to another room in 4th floor. 2) in the new room the main door lock could not be locked and also the lock of the bathroom was broken. 3) another major concern is that to get hot water we have to just waste three buckets of water. The hotel management informed that they are using solar powered heater and to get hot water you have to keep the tap opened for some time. This is unacceptable, considering three buckets of water is being wasted every time anyone wants hot water in this hotel. 4) the coat blankets had mildew and not clean. 5) there are no tea bags or any thing necessary to make tea/coffee in the room. And you will not get anything until morning 7. 30 am when the restaurant opens. I requested for a tea at 5. 00 am and got it at 8. 00 am. I informed all the above issues to the hotel manager while checking out. He listened to me and took my phone number. While checking out, to my surprise, no one helped us to carry our bags to the car, considering we had 5-6 bags and my kids are 4 years old. This was really a terrible experience with the such a reputed hotel. I believe the management checks and resolves these issues at the earliest.
