Travelodge Paignton Seafront

We booked two rooms on the same booking and on arrival found that one was booked on the 1st floor and one on the 3rd floor. Thankfully the receptionist rectified this for us so we could both be on the same floor. Both rooms were very different but both were clean. and stocked with everything we needed. The following morning we booked breakfast and for most of our breakfast we were the only ones there which was nice and relaxing and there were plenty of selections to choose from. The Travelodge was a bit difficult for us to find initially as we had come on the train and most of the instructions were for drivers, but we found it eventually. It was literally a couple of minutes walk to the beach from there. We had a nice stay in general , there was work going on but was stopped at a decent time and we both had a peaceful nights sleep there.

It was ok as expected for a cheaper hotel. Breakfast was mediocre, better off going to a local cafe. Not sure how they manage the parking during the holiday season

When we arrived the young man on reception greeted us warmly, was pleasant, helpful and efficient. (Was sorry not to have asked him his name). The room was beautifully aired, exceptionally clean and fresh, everywhere in the room. The bed was really comfortable and there were extra pillows and duvets if we needed them. Would highly recommend a stay here and we, will stay here again if we are in that part of the country. Well done Travelodge staff.

Absolutely perfect for a break away, clean, professional & accessible for everyone. Perfectly situated 2-3 minutes from the beach. Lovely hotel 😊

Various areas of customer service, staff availability, capability and training were lacking as were various items and amenities in our very small room. A very busy bank holiday weekend was not serviced professionally.

While being slightly skeptical about saying here due to mixed reviews I was pleasentlt surprised by the welcoming atmosphere at this hotel. Rooms are a good size and cleaned with care. Staff are helpful. Having worked in a Travelodge before it is cheap and cheerful but paighton seafront is really good value for money. Breakfast is full of choice and is restocked accordingly.
