San Juan Motel

I arrived with a nice greeting and smile. The room had a jammed dead bolt lock so the young gentleman promptly checked it out and then helped move baggage to another room immediately. He apologized and quickly I was in a room with an added table for two. Pillow top mattress was very comfortable pillows need to be replaced, bathroom seemed updated. It was a quiet rustic type room off the Highway. I felt it was very overpriced for the ambience. Once inside it felt more like a cabin in the woods. Not what I would have chosen if I'd seen photos.

It was the worst experience in a hotel I have ever had! The cost was 200.00 for the night. Only availability in Pagos Springs. First, there was a cat in our room when we opened the door. TV didn't work, the air conditioner didn't work bed was horrible! Walls were paper thin. We were trying to sleep when the guys next door to us got in. All we could hear was the f bomb. We heard one guy sneeze 100 times.He mustt have had a cat in his room, too. We called the front desk to complain, no answer. We called the Manger, Kami, the next day to let her know of our experience. She said she would call us back, never did. Then when we tried calling back, they never would answer our call. Must have recognized our number. What a sleezy way to run your business. What a sleezy motel! Don't stay at this motel!!

The room we were in needed things fixed and carpet was nasty. Curtain was just hanging. We had issue with money taking out without permission. Location was great. And if you go try to talk with Taffy, asst. Manager. She was awesome and very helpful. I would suggest a cabin. We had a room .
