Diamantino Town House

The Diamantino is fantastically located on one of the main piazzas in Padua, easy to find and clear notice on the door about arrivals. I had a double room for myself with a great view across the piazza. Lovely comfortable bed , a well equipped kettle, fridge etc. The bathroom was spacious, well lit and very clean. The only downside was late night and early morning noise, the bars on the square were open until 2am on Saturday into Sunday and the street cleaning started at 5am. No problem at all on the Sunday night, all quiet by 11pm.

Stayed 4 night for business during Jan 2025. This is a pretty unique hotel - it is situated in a very old building (renovated, of course) right at Piazza dei Signori, so location can't be better. We never met Paolo, out host. However, he has been super responsive and helpful over whatsapp. I had a room with a balcony over the Piazza, so great view. The room is of a good size in European standards, Cleanliness is perfect. The room has a large closet, so a lot of room for clothes. There is a desk if you want to open your laptop. Overall very convenient. Also, the bed is comfortable. The room is made up every day. There is a fridge where you'll find 2 bottles of water, 2 yogurts, 2 fruit juice bottles, 2 croissants, 2 muffins, some coffee capsules and a matching espresso machine. The drink and food items are replenished daily, and this is what the included breakfast consists of. If you don't like it, there are are dozens of coffee shops in the 1 minute walking distance range. As others have mentioned, there is a steep staircase going up to the rooms, so this place is not for elderly or disabled people, probably. Regarding what others have written about the noise - yeah, the Piazza gets very loud at night but if you shut down the blinds and close the windows, you can barely hear anything. I was there during January, so can't say anything about the A/C. Heating worked great. Overall, if I'll visit the area again, I'll try to book Diamantino as my first option.

Posizione meravigliosa, in pieno centro storico, a piazza dei Signori, host gentilissimo e disponibile, camere confortevoli, la nostra aveva vista sulla piazza e un terrazzino delizioso che affaccia sull’orologio astronomico. Buono il sevizio di macchinetta del caffè e tisaniera in camera, unico piccolo suggerimento: per la colazione, per eventuali intolleranze o se gli ospiti desiderano altro dagli snack messi a disposizione in stanza, potrebbe essere un’idea un buono colazione per il bar più vicino. A parte questo, ottima soluzione, siamo stati molto bene.

The Dimantino Town House is brilliantly located above the main piazza. There are many piazzas in Padova and all within walking distance - everything is within walking distance. During the day the Piazza is a market, in the afternoon/evening all the tables are out and its aperitivo or dinner time. Padova is a really busy city and there is something happening in the piazza's all of the time. But back to the apartment. The balcony gives you fabulous views of the piazza. The bathroom is well appointed. The room was comfortable. There is a bar fridge which is very useful. The foyer space has a range of brochures and maps and a printer which is very helpful.

È stata una fuga dalla vita quotidiana meravigliosa, il proprietario Paolo una persona gentilissima e disponibilissima,di grande cultura. L'albergo situato nel cuore di Padova è in una piazza meravigliosa e si trova vicino a tutto per poter girare a piedi. Siamo stati molto bene grazie

Terrific location directly on the piazza with double balcony. Recently renovated room and bathroom. Perfect location for a stay in Padua.
