Stayed 3 nights for a wedding and ****** mystery event. Food was great as were the staff. Bar was a bit pricey. Room was good but a bit dated and various appliances could probably do with seeing to, the taps moved when Turning on, the bathroom light switch was a bit dodgey. Generally though it was all pretty good. The staff did a cracking job and everyone was well looked after

What a wonderful find it was like going back in time. Fantastic Staff Beautiful Room Upgrade and delicious food. To the Management please will you pass on to all your Staff our thanks for looking after us during our stay. The young lady who served us in the Evening especially .I am sorry i forgot her name. I have stayed in many top class hotels all over the world and this ranks in top ten at a very reasonable price. We will be back thankyou very much. Regards Steve and Lesley

Booked this as a last minute cheap January deal given the price we paid £99 for snug room including two course dinner and full cooked breakfast was not expecting what we got At that price realistically we anticipated food would be ok but nothing special However! The evening meal was absolutely delicious! Good choice, brilliant flavours was gorgeous! High quality setting and service To add to this the breakfast the next day was of the same high quality and standards! Cooked beautifully Requested the night before to have in our rooms Was delivered on time with all the extras, hot no extra charge as most hotels do In addition to the above the staff are lovely Very polite and accommodating I think (not confirmed) We also got a free room upgrade as I booked the snug, however looking over the pictures and the room we stayed in I believe we were given a superior Slight and I say slight as it was very much that I tried to use the hairdryer provided in the room ( Dyson) And it started to smoke (possibly not been used and bit of dust however) My partner left the room to take to reception more so they were aware they apologised asked if we needed another could not fault this hotel, food or staff Thank you for a lovely stay

My husband and myself stayed at The Lawrance Hotel for one night. From the moment we arrived to check in we were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is situated in Padiham in Lancashire and is a get base to explore the area. We had our evening meal in the hotel and the food very a high standard and was very delicious. We had a cheese board to finish off our dining experience which was outstanding; full of local cheeses, we would highly recommend this. Breakfast didn’t disappoint either; freshly cooked to order, with local products too. We will definitely be back.

Our daughter had her wedding here and it was wonderful from beginning to the end. The room, the food and the whole hotel was perfect. The fact that it was not too big meant that everyone mixed. The little rooms off the main room added to the experience.

We got married at The Lawrence on Saturday. It was the most perfect day and that was down to the meticulous care and attention given by the whole team. Olivia was an amazing wedding coordinator and ensured everything went to time without a hitch. The whole venue looked beautiful. Our guests were all commenting on the lovely building and decor, the intimate setting, and of course, the amazing food. From canapés, to wedding breakfast, evening Buffet and breakfast the next morning everything was delicious and served with the utmost care and by friendliest team of hospitality staff. Honestly those young people were amazing. I cannot recommend nor thank Michael and his team and The Lawrence enough. Memories will last us a lifetime.
