Back from our visit Saturday feeling relaxed and happy with choice of hotel so wanted to give honest feedback so don't take some of the reviews seriously! This hotel is visited by lots of different nationalities and British holidaymakers seemed to be in the minority but we weren't bothered at all. The hotel is beautiful very grand and spotless because of the staff! The room was spotless and well decorated with beautiful sea views which were stunning. Loads of space for the four of us. Great system so can press button so housekeeping could see either green to clean or red for do not disturb. Can't fault cleanliness, the beds super comfy, so not sure why anyone had any issues. The mini bar was stocked daily and with more than enough drinks for all great additions. The staff were lovely they all work tirelessly and to be honest a few more staff in the bars as they get busy but never have to wait too long but just to ease pressure on the hard working staff!  The shows at nightime were great the bohemian and fire show brilliant we didnt really watch others but could hear going on we just relaxed in sports bar.   The drinks and cocktails were good Ozan(reception bar) special mention as attentive and always remembered our drinks order!  The lady in sports bar sorry cant spell her name but she also deserves a mention as again attentive and lovely friendly service.   The Patisserie was amazing bonus and opened till late every day cakes and ice cream. Plenty of areas to get drinks through the day beach bar pier bonuses and able to get crisps and nuts also. Lovely terraces to still comfy seating all around the hotel. Lots of food choices, would be suprised if people didn’t find something to eat although breakfast,  lunch and waffles/ baked potatoes the best!! Evening meal was ok lots choice but usual AI bit monotonous. Plates cleared super quick everywhere clean and always got our drinks in the evenings. We are in a la carte Mexican which was lovely 5 courses stuffed after. Would have been good to at least have the option to go to another one in the AI package. Water park good and the foam party was good laugh. Pools great and large enough to enjoy can use floats in the water if noisy round 1 pool but enough space to get away from it if you look and beach was nice. There are rocks in places in the sea can be a little rough so have to becareful but it's lovely and clean. The beach was also small area and the beds so close together but still lovely. The pier also plenty of beds. Entertainment staff would keep you entertained all day if you want always something going on if you want it. Gym really well equipped also and this was hit with our son. Hired beach cabana best 150 euros comfy felt VIP large private area and great service off the lady serving us,  for drinks fruit platter crisp and nuts lovely experience by us all. THIS IS A MUST DO. Gutted the pier cabanas also weren’t open but the staff worked hard to get the pier itself repaired a

Otel ***et büyük denize 0 kumsalı kum denizin içinin sırf kum olması beklentisi içinde olanlar için çok tatmin etmeyebilir.Yemekler çok çeşitli ancak özellikle ızgara etler konusunda kaldığımız süre boyunca zaman zaman tam pişmediğini gördük ve şefe ilettiğimde nazik bir şekilde geri dönüşüm için teşekkür etti. Olumsuz tek bir durum yaşadık Jolly tur aracılığıyla almış olduğumuz kara manzaralı oda almış almamıza rağmen otel yandan deniz manzaralı oda vermislerdi sağolsunlar ancak 4 gün süresince 1056 numaralı odamıza gün boyunca belli saatlerde gelen mobilya çekilmesi şeklindeki sesler yüzünden baya rahatsız olduk bu durumu resepsiyona bildirdik gelip baktılar nedenin neden kaynaklandığını kendilerininde bilmediklerini dile getirdiler! ve bu nedenle 3.gün o da değişikliği talebi rica ettik.Ancak odaların dolu olması nedeniyle değişim olamadı ki mevcut odamız gerçekten güzel bir manzaraya ve terasa sahipti.En son gün bir personelinde demesiyle anladık ki bu seslerin sebebi altımızda ki kocaman ana restaurantın sabah,akşam,gece yemek saati için hazırlanması ve müşterilerin yemek saatinde masa sandalye seslerinin bir üst kattaki(1.katta bulunan) odalara (ses izolasyonunun yetersiz olmasından dolayı)ve hatta otelin holündede duyulması oldu. Bir daha oteli bu oteli tercih edersek buna dikkat edeceğimiz den eminiz

2nd visit to this hotel in same year, and what a mistake it was ! 1st visit mostly was good and the pier and service there was great as was the second time but there is a big problem at this hotel with weak management ( general manager, guest relations manager and entertainment manager) We complained about loud techno boom boom music all day and in the disco which filtered to our room and no action was taken. We complained about no service in the evening at the pool bar and only plastic glasses no action was taken. We complained about air conditioning and cleaning of our room no action was taken. We complained about bad service in the lobby bar no action was taken. It was one complaint too many and we were kicked out of the hotel 🤷‍♂️ There were many good things about this hotel and some very good staff and food was good but there is a manager couldn’t fix any problems so he and his guest relations boss just got rid of us bad guests! Been coming to turkey for 15 years now and sometimes 6 times a year in mostly Antalya but Sunis Efes was a big mistake ( think again before booking )

We visited the Sunis Efes Royal Palace Resort & Spa in the first week of July 2025, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is exactly as advertised on the Jet2 website – a grand, immaculate, marble-filled palace (built in 2015 at a cost of $30 million – and it shows). ✨ Cleanliness & Service The hotel is spotlessly clean, thanks to an army of staff constantly polishing and tidying. Drinks are cleared and replaced almost instantly, and the staff are, on the whole, very friendly. I’d highly recommend bringing some Turkish Lira in small denominations for tipping – even small amounts are very much appreciated and will earn you some extra smiles. The average wage for bar staff is low, so your generosity goes a long way. 🛬 Transfers & Arrival We travelled with Jet2, and I can’t fault them. The transfer from Izmir Airport (just an hour away) was seamless. We felt supported at every stage, which made arrival stress-free and smooth. Definitely worth the small extra spend for Jet2’s service. 🍽 Food & Drink The buffet is huge and caters to all tastes. While the breakfast options aren't traditional British fare, there are fresh omelettes, eggs, amazing bread selections, fresh juices, and Turkish tea and coffee. That said, the only proper ground coffee is served in the Patisserie, which doesn’t open until 10am – a bit painful for us caffeine lovers! The coffee in the breakfast buffet is, unfortunately, not great. The lunch options at both the Beach Bar and Poolside Restaurant were excellent – loads of variety and some real highlights like fried mussels and a huge barbecued tuna. The Patisserie is a hidden gem – air-conditioned, stylish, and home to the good ice cream and fresh pastries, served all day. We didn’t try the à la carte restaurants as we enjoyed the buffet so much, but they looked great. 🍦 Top Tip: Ice cream is tricky to find at first – available by the pool bar from 12–3pm, or all day from the Patisserie on the lower level near the spa. 🏖 Pools, Sunbeds & the Sea There are two huge pools, both 1.4m deep – perfect for swimming and family-friendly with wide steps for children. The sunbeds are comfortable, which is important if you're spending long days poolside. Sunbed wars did begin as the week progressed. The hotel tries to deter towel-reserving by removing hotel towels left unattended, but people use their own to get around this. A more active approach might help. The beach and pontoon are lovely – swimming in the sea was a highlight. Unfortunately, the pontoon was closed for most of our stay due to shifting wind and waves, which was disappointing as it was a big reason we booked the hotel. Worth bearing in mind if this is a key part of your plan. There are also private cabanas on the beach, by the pool, and (normally) on the pontoon – around $100–$135/day depending on location. Great if you're a group or want a luxurious day, but some are right by very loud speakers, which leads to my biggest complaint… 🎶 Entertainment
