Club Marvy

Сейчас находимся в отеле. Отель, конечно, пять звезд, но хорошие 5 звезд. Но , например сеть Voyage и Gural, гораздо выше уровнем. Отель берет свое за счет природы, здесь безусловно очень красиво! Море красивое, но если после обеда волны купаться очень некомфортно, поднимаются водоросли и море очень грязное. Про сам отель: - номера хорошие, уборка каждый день - еда- выбор небольшой , но все вкусно и качественно - алкоголь- очень маленький выбор, в барах постоянно нет наименований из меню. Например, бренди наполеон ( второй был турецкий) не было за 6 дней пребывания ни разу. Вино среднего качества, коктейли делают на глаз - рестораны а-ля карты- даже не тратьте время. Меня такое же как в обед. В турецком ресторане невозможно есть . На горячее баранье печень, рыбья голова или потроха - персонал - никто не будет стараться вам услужить или сделать отдых комфортнее, вам надо будет попросить об этом. В целом твердая четверка, но за такую цену на 5 хороших звезд не отвечает… Спасибо природа спасает, этим и пользуются

I recently stayed at this resort for a week with my husband and son (aged 6), although we had a nice time as a family, there are significant areas where improvement is needed if it is to truly meet 5-star expectations (or what you may see on social media!) The resort as a whole is in need of maintenance. Buildings, flooring, and garden areas show visible signs of wear and would benefit from refurbishment. This is a shame, as the location and layout have great potential. The pools are excellent for both adults and children, well-sized, though getting a sunbed is a challenge. Adding background music during the day would greatly improve the atmosphere around the pool areas. The beach is a real highlight – a pleasure to spend time on. Rooms Room décor is basic and drab, with maintenance issues such as cupboard doors not fitting, a constantly running toilet, and a weak shower, which didn’t get very hot. The front door was also difficult to open and there is a step right as you walk in that you would fall over, which was inconvenient. On the positive side, the bed itself was extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, housekeeping standards were disappointing. Linen appeared unchanged throughout the week, with beds simply pulled back and no decorative touches replaced. Rubbish such as empty water bottles was not cleared for an entire week and the minibar was very basic and not restocked until we complained. A coffee machine would be a welcome addition, as well as milk for a coffee or tea!! More concerningly, we discovered ants in the bed during our stay. Dining Food variety was limited, with a heavy reliance on pizza, burgers, and chips. The buffet lacks structure and organisation, making mealtimes chaotic, particularly at dinner when finding a table is extremely difficult, as there is no one assisting with locating a table. Breakfast was easier, though options are heavily Turkish – great for those wanting local flavours, but English-style breakfast options are non-existent (baked beans, bacon, hash browns). There were some dairy free alternative milks but no yogurts which would have been great to have with the cereal/fruit. Apart from this, there is a lot of salads, cheese, meats, breads offered daily which were all very tasty. I was expecting to come to Turkey and have more ‘traditional kebab style’ dinners but they didn’t have these (only had chicken wings for the chicken option) We were disappointed to find that the Italian and steakhouse restaurants required an extra charge. Our à la carte meal at Boa Grill was acceptable, though nothing standout. Restaurant service overall was poor – staff often struggled with English, forgot drinks orders, and generally seemed in need of more training and customer service focus. I can’t recall one good experience with the waiters, you have more chance of being seen by the waiters in the buffet if you are seated outside on the terrace area. Inside, you may as well be a ghost! Excellent hotel, we liked everything very much, excellent food and drinks, clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful beaches! We will definitely come again!

Our visit to Club Marvy in August was a largely excellent experience. We flew into Izmir and a private transfer worked well for our late evening flight. We booked with EasyJet as it offered a flight to Izmir, the closest airport to the resort. The staff were a particular highlight; from the reception team to the bar, waiting staff, chefs, and cooks, everyone was consistently professional and helpful. The food was first-rate, and we enjoyed the variety of options. We made good use of the pools and slides, and the beach was well-maintained with the weeds cleared every morning. The sea water was very clear and great for snorkelling. The hotel’s location is also a major plus. There were a few areas that could be improved. Our room, while clean overall, felt a little small. Housekeeping was somewhat inconsistent; we found some mould in the bathrooms, and items like hair conditioner and mini-bar snacks were not restocked regularly. We used the MarvyAssists WhatsApp channel to get a restock, but the problem re-emerged later. The evening entertainment was also a bit too late for us after a full day outside, though it was generally more adult-oriented and better than at other resorts we have visited. Additionally, we were hoping for more structured activities for teenagers. While there was a chill zone with a snooker table and a few gaming seats, there were no organised options for teens. We only ate at the BOA a la carte restaurant once, as we were very happy with the buffet options. A real highlight was the pasta-making course we did with Cristina Bowerman, which was excellent. Overall, we had a very good holiday and would recommend the resort, with just a few minor points to be aware of.
