From arrival until departure, we had issues with staff. Started with receptionist telling us to check in at the kiosk, I had 6 rooms. I was certainly not going to do that. They charge $5 for using the robe, however you don't know this until you pop the little plastic hoop and the small paper falls off. I don't know (yet), waiting for my final credit card bill, if we did get charged for the robe, but it is annoying to feel like this pricey resort is going to pull a Frontier and nickel and dime their guests. We went up to the bar/restaurant to order food. We were sent down to the lobby. The pizza box looked as if it had been reused. We went to the bar to get drinks and the bartender was rude. He wanted to know that he was going to get a tip (because all night, people weren't tipping). I ended up leaving without my drink because of his bad attitude. We had to request the fire pits to be turned on - it is October and chilly. We asked for more towels, that was a small debate with the receptionist. We had 6 children with us. I was told I would be charged $25 for any lost towels. The gal who closes up the pool area doesn't have access to getting a room key - SO DON'T LOSE that thing either. Tried to take coffee to go. Grabbed a cup (the same as in the rooms already). Can't do that. Go to lobby and get a to go cup. Fine! Went back to restaurant to get coffee, can't come back in, can't get coffee here. Get coffee in the lobby. Well, the lobby doesn't have creamer. First couple kids and adults getting drinks no problem, then staff changed out and then next time we were charged $5.50 for a soda each. Tried to tell him that we were getting them for free. He said NO. Once we got home, I started looking at the website to see who to complain to and on the home page, it says they offer complimentary drinks in the lobby. Literally the amount of back and forth doubled / tripled my step count. Ridiculous
