They did not have hot water at night (it was winter), so we had to boil water and use the pail to shower. Nice decor in room and around the accomodation. Breakfast was nice and filling.

La décoration est soignée entre chic et touches artistiques. Ceci que ce soit en intérieur qu'en extérieur. Les variations du petit déjeuner servir à l'assiette chaque matin est un véritable bonheur. Pour finir, on remercie Ayla et son équipe pour leurs attentions et extrême gentillesse.

Average one-night stay The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was very good. However, the room (R5), was a bit worn and tired looking and lacked privacy from the adjacent pool area and the walkway to the other units. The main restaurant street is a 20 min walk away and walking after dark was not recommended. Overall, it was an ok one-night stay. However, we had expected more based on the ratings.

The most wonderful place to stay in Oudtshoorn! Very friendly staff and everyone made us feel at home. I loved the fact that we could swim and braai. The breakfast is amazing, and fast service also. Thank you Earthbound, our stay was wonderful!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Earthbound Guest House during our trip to Oudtshoorn. We chose this guest house primarily for its proximity to the meeting point for the Meerkat Adventure experience, which is just a short 10-minute drive away. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly Ayla, who provided us with all the essential information about our stay and helpful tips about Oudtshoorn. To our delight, we also received a complimentary room upgrade. The location of Earthbound Guest House is convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby—perfect for grocery shopping or dining out. Breakfast was delicious, the room and bathroom were spacious, and the WiFi connection was reliable. The bed was also incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. As a lovely touch, we were served dessert wine upon arrival. Overall, it was a truly pleasant stay, made even more special by Ayla's warm hospitality. We highly recommend Earthbound Guest House to anyone visiting Oudtshoorn!

Das schönste und persönlichste B&B, was ich weit und breit gefunden habe. In jedem Apartment viele künstlerische Details, sehr liebevoll arrangiert. Alles zu 100% sauber und in Ordnung, tolle bodenebene Dusche, ein kleiner Likör zum Einschlafen neben dem sehr guten Bett, jedes Appartement mit Deckenlüfter und Klimaanlage, ein sehr sauberer Pool, jeden Tag ein anderes Frühstück, auch auf extra Wünsche wird sehr gern eingegangen. Mary und Ihr Team stehen mit Rat und Tat und mit großem Engagement immer zur Seite. Es ist hier immer lustig und wird nie langweilig. Wenn Oudtshoorn - dann hier. Incontournable à Oudtshoorn Marie est très avenante et n’hésite pas à conseiller sur les activités à faire. De plus, l’hébergement est idéal tant au niveau géographique que pour la qualité des prestations. Le petit-déjeuner est incroyable.

Stay here....you won't be disappointed!! Great stay! Our room was fantastic with a private garden. Very clean, comfortable and roomy! The pool area was comfortable with a fire pit which many guests utilized.The hostess was very helpful with suggesting things for us to do during our stay. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and she even served it earlier than normal to accommodate our early departure.

Quiet and peaceful This is a really lovely setting, with the rooms having private outdoor sitting areas. Everything is very comfortable and clean. The owner Marie is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and concerned that our visit was perfect. She is very knowledgeable about places to visit in the area. Her dinner recommendations (Jemima's and Nostalgie) were both excellent. This was one of the nicest b&bs that we visited during a 9-day trip to the Cape region of South Africa. Breakfast served in an intimate outdoor (but enclosed for the cool of the morning) dining area was perfect. We were very pleased with our visit.
