Just back from 2 nights staying at this charming Chateau. The local area is beautiful, with plenty of restaurant / bistro options in Oudon and the surrounding villages. My room was decorated and furnished to a meticulously high standard, and I had 2 great nights of sleep on the comfortable bed. Great bathroom too; I was lucky enough to have the room with the "shower in a tower" - very cool! The views over the Loire valley are to die for, and every window frames another fantastic view from inside the Chateau. No light pollution at night makes for some amazing star gazing too! Breakfast was an event! Home made bread and preserves, excellent coffee, an egg from the Chateau's hens, local apple juice and lots more! The highlight of the stay was to be welcomed and looked after so well by Lars. A heartwarming experience!

Charmant petit château
Magnifique demeure dans la campagne nantaise avec vue grandiose sur la vallée de la Loire. La chambre est grande bien décorée dans des tons pastel et très calme. Lars et Irvin sont des hôtes charmants qui vous préparent le petit déjeuner avec produits fait maison, un régal!
Nous passons un excellent séjour

Chateau Gastronomic
Fabulous welcome from Lars with his animated description of the Valley. The views were amazing - what a beautiful place to stay. We slept in the Swedish room with a perfect hot walk in shower.
We also had dinner at the Chateau and Lars attention to detail and flavours were simply perfect! We would thoroughly recommend the Chateau & definitely stay for your evening meal x

Superbe séjour
Un séjour parfait dans un lieu parfait.
Nos hôtes ont été au petit soin pour nous tout le week-end. La chambre était superbe et la vue du château tout simplement magnifique.
Le petit déjeuner valait également le coup !
Si vous souhaitez rajouter un repas du soir, surtout n'hésitez pas, il était délicieux.
Nous conseillons !

Un superbe séjour au Château de Haute Roche.Merci à Lars pour son accueil et sa cuisine. La chambre située entre deux tours était au top et les jardins sont très agréables pour une petite promenade avant le repas concocté avec brio par Lars. Un vrai plaisir à renouveler.

Notre séjour d'une nuit a été en tous points remarquable. Nous avons été reçus comme des rois. Depuis l'accueil très chaleureux de Lars Johansson, au superbe diner que ce Chef nous a préparé avec beaucoup de talent, jusqu'au petit déjeuner très copieux. Tous les produits qui nous ont été proposés sont faits maison ou proviennent de producteurs locaux. Mais il faut bien sûr parler du château. Sa vue sur la Vallée de la Loire est exceptionnelle et apaisante. Le château de Haute Roche a été rénové et meublé avec beaucoup de soin et de goût par ses propriétaires. Ses trois chambres sont très chaleureuses et confortables. On reviendra sans aucun doute.

This was our first time staying in a Chateau, and we are very impressed by the beauty of the place and Mr Lars’s warm hospitality. The Chateau is nestled along the Loire Valley, and the interior is very cozy. The cleanliness, furnishings and bedding in the rooms were impeccable! We absolutely enjoyed the dinner prepared by Mr Lars, it was the best meal we had in France thus far! Breakfast was scrumptious and Mr Lars provided a wide selection too! We could taste the freshness of the ingredients used to create the dishes. This place is an absolute gem and we were so glad to have a chance to spend time here!
