Lakeside Hotel Casino

Was not a good experience. First if you book and pay online they will charge you another $13.95 at the desk. Not sure why. When I asked the girl she said "we charge that to everyone that pays online". Gave us keys to our room and we headed there. Keys would not work. Went back to desk and she re keyed our cards. went back down to the room. Still didn't work. Then a couple opened the door. The room had already been booked. Apologized to the couple and went back upstairs. They gave us a different room that had a fireplace (didn't work) and a Jacuzzi tub which was nice. Ceiling must be thin as the running right above us went on most of the night and was very loud. There is no Breakfast in the morning. You can go to the dinning area and get breakfast but that does not start till 9:00 AM and cost $21.95 a person plus extra for drink. Ran into the other couple that had the room we originally got sent too and they had been locked out of their room after that and had their own horror story of their stay.

Used Lakeside ****** for our wedding hotel. Didn’t have an amazing experience but it did the job. Not very friendly staff or bartenders in the ******. No gift or accommodations/comps for the bridal couple even though we booked out every room in our block. In addition, they never told us when our block was full, which resulted in several of our guest not booking with the hotel (very unfortunate). Also there was so no soap, shampoo, or extra blankets in our room. Lastly, cleaning staff was extremely loud in the hallways in the morning.

Terrible place all around. Staff was unfriendly. Tv didn’t work and toilet kept running. We have stayed here 3 years in a row and this place gets worse and worse each time. I have never been treated this way and lied to multiple times. Where were our discount for CDL and military. You said they were applied. But they were not.

Beautiful area with the lake. Check in was friendly, professional and quick. Room was immaculate. Bed very comfortable and I had a very good night's sleep. My only disappointment was the slots. I don't gamble often, and the machines sure have changed over the years. I didn't play, so guess that's a good thing cause I didn't lose any money. Wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Our hotel room may have been the worst we have ever stayed in. The curtains were torn, the sink drain was stopped up, and the carpet was filthy. The toilet wouldn’t flush so we had to call maintenance. The hallway carpet was stained and needed to be cleaned. We will never stay here again.

Thank you so much for our retired military discount, and terrific room with all the amenities. Special thanks to reservations agent Ann, and desk reception, Ms. Amy, Ms. Jan, & Ms. Bailey. We specially appreciated Security Guard Mile while under a tornado warning.

Another great visit to Lakeside. Very nice employees. Great restaurant with different buffet options depending on the day of the week. Hotel employees very accomodating. Slots were a bit tight but all in all, nice visit. Love walking down to West Lake to take photos of the sunset!

Checked in on Tuesday. First it is a third cheaper to do online than in person. The room was clean but it is the noisiest hotel. All night long doors slamming and around 530 am something banged and the floor actually shook. Showered and left well that’s another thing restaurant’s doesn’t open until 9. Who can sleep that late in the noise? It would be nice to have coffee in the room so don’t have to track down to lobby for a small cup. Person checking us in was new and one person waiting behind us with? someone finally came and helped our person but wouldn’t help the person behind us. Overall not a good experience and won’t return or advise anyone else to stay.

I stayed here 7 days on a deer hunting trip: My feedback. The Good: The room was decent sized. The prime rib was good. The burger & fries are good. Conveniently located for other needs. You can walk from your room down the hall to the restaurant and ****** floor. The entry of hotel has a nice coffee station and snacks. The Bad: Only really 1 restaurant and doesn’t open till 9 am. So no early breakfast. Buffett only on Fri,Sat,Sun and wasn’t all that for a ******. Good stuff is always gone. Small dinner menu so long stays get old. It’s either, prime rib, burger &. fries, salad or salmon. With a few small finger items scattered in. They won’t clean your room until you check out. On day 5 I had to bribe cleaning lady in my hall to vacuum and supply me new towels, TP and empty trash cans. No coffee machine in rooms. You have to get dressed and go to lobby coffee station. ****** will take every dime and does not payout. Played almost everyday and never won a bonus real, never won on auto roulette wheel, people are walking back & forth looking because it’s so small and they aren’t winning. 1 black Jack table, 1 craps table, 2 poker tables, that’s it. Half of the slots are on 2nd floor while rest are on 1st floor so you have to take an escalator back & forth. No ATM on ****** floors, you have to leave and go to a hall to find one. Room was dated and the staff never smile. I mean never. They won’t even return a good morning. The motel staff were just not happy people. So in my opinion, this is not a vacation or trip ****** / Hotel. It’s a stay over on a trip place. It’s not a gamblers friend. My opinion.
