Very nice friendly staff

Elite Plaza Hotel is a stylish, modern, and thoughtfully designed hotel beautifully located by the waterfront in central Örnsköldsvik. Here are my impressions after staying there: ⸻ Location: The hotel enjoys a fantastic location right on the harbor—just steps from the water. The sea-facing rooms offer a calming view that adds a vacation-like feel. However, some rooms face a busy road and can be affected by noise. For a restful night’s sleep, it’s highly recommended to book a room with a sea view. ⸻ Interior & Atmosphere: Design is one of the hotel’s strongest assets. The interior features warm wood paneling, Scandinavian-style furnishings, and carefully curated lighting. The lounge and dining areas are tastefully decorated with natural materials, books, ceramics, and artistic touches. A particularly impressive feature is the tall stairwell adorned with hanging globe lights, creating a dramatic and artistic visual impression. Overall, the atmosphere is both elegant and inviting. ⸻ Rooms & Bathrooms: The rooms are modern, comfortable, and stylishly minimalistic. Bathrooms are fully tiled in dark marble, equipped with rain showers and good lighting—both functional and visually appealing. ⸻ Breakfast: The breakfast is of high quality, offering a wide selection including cold cuts, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, and various breads and toppings. The buffet is well presented and includes both hot and cold options. The breakfast area is bright and pleasant with plenty of natural light. ⸻ Restaurant: The hotel’s in-house restaurant is The Bishops Arms, a well-known British-style gastropub. It offers a cozy atmosphere and a good selection of food, beer, and whiskies. A convenient and relaxed dining option just downstairs. ⸻ Service: The reception staff was professional and helpful. The breakfast team was also friendly and attentive. ⸻ Summary: This is a beautiful hotel with a strong focus on design and comfort. The breakfast is excellent, the ambiance is relaxing, and the location by the harbor is hard to beat. The only downside is the potential road noise in some rooms—book a sea view room for the best experience.

very nice hotel with a built in British pub ( The Bishops Arms ). Food in there was tasty and the staff were friendly, also very good speaking English. Hotel was clean and reception staff nice. Breakfast had quite a good selection but nothing exceptional. The location was next to a small harbour and perfect for a short walk into town. If there was one complaint it would be the bed, it felt like it had been slept on for the last 20 years and was totally collapsed. Not very comfortable at all. Room was clean and the bathroom was good

Rent och snyggt!

Icke så hundvänligt Vi har hund som skulle följa med oss på resan behövde därför välja ett hotel som var hundvänligt och fick då valet Elite Plaza via Hotels.coms filter det verkade bra eftersom det också ligger väldigt centralt. Hundvänligt var det i den bemärkelsen att man kan boka rum och får ha med sig hund. Det fanns inget utrymme i restaurangen för oss med vår hund vilket blev knepigt när man skall äta frukost eller middag då blev vi hänvisade till vårt rum eller ett väldigt litet hörn i receptionen vilket inte gjorde vår hotelupplevelse särkskilt trevlig. Vi betalar ju ett hundtilägg där det också utlovades hundgodis, bajspåsar och matskålar och det fanns inget av det. Jag undrar vad dem extra pengarna man betalar för att få ta med sig sin hund faktiskt är till för. Förstår att man inte kan ha med sin hund överallt då det finns andra gääster som inte uppskattar det men säger man att vi är ett hundvänligt hotel och sen hänvisar oss till att äta på vårt rum så blir upplevelsen ganska dålig och tråkig då vi sett fram emot vår vistelse. Sen kanske man tänker att en hund kan väl stanna på rummet medans vi äter och ja så kanske det är för vissa men för oss funkar inte det. Så hundvänligt det vet jag inte om jag kan kalla det. Annars var det ett helt ok hotel rent och snyggt och bra frukost och sköna sägnar men tyvärr väljer vi ett annat hotel nästa gång.

Skønt hotel i skøn by Skønt, dejligt at få lov at bo ved siden af fitness. Synd badstue var ude af drift, men så prøver jeg den næste gang.
