Breakfast with seasonal and home made products, freshly made juice, cakes, fruits, charcuterie, cheeses.. Our room was lovely, very clean, bathrobes, toiletries, little details that made it nice. The restaurant at evening was exquisite. Touched all our senses. Also the bistro “Gayot” they recommend in the centre of the town was really good. Nice garden, swimming pool, tennis court. And you instantly know that mushrooms are the main key in their whole story. Their mushroom butter is to die for. We couldn’t stop eating from it. We highly recommend to stay there. You will see us back in the future. A very hardworking team, always a smile on their face, always friendly. "

"The room was tight with space and the shower room the size of a closet. The wash basin was cracked. Where the manager was very charming and helpful her staff left much to be desired. Their body language left one with the impression that they were tired of tourists invading their space; indifferent and could not look at you in the eye. Table service was very poor showing a lack of training and experience. We were seated at a table but not given any menus. After waiting a quarter of an hour we noticed other couples arriving were seated and given menus immediately. At that point I got up and asked a member of staff for a menu. Having supplied our order we were kept waiting half an hour before the first course arrived while other customers who had arrived after us were served before us. Our dinner took us two and a half hours! On departure, after two nights, we were checked out by one of the assistants who was very curt, could not look at me in the eye and could not bring herself to wish us a pleasant journey! Cannot recommend this hotel"

Sen 18-inch paksu seinät ovat täydellinen äänisuoja. Hiljaisuus on tervetullut helpotus liikkeelle jääneestä kaupungista. Host Monique on ystävällinen ja energinen, ja erinomainen kokki. Hän jopa teetti herkullisia croissants ja jam meidän tyylikkäät aamiainen. Se on tarjoiltu suurissa ruokailuhuoneessa, jossa on useita kiehtova antiikki ja kirjallisuus paikallisista toiminnoista. "What a fabulous find this was! We were looking for an overnight stopping place on our return to the UK and are so pleased we found Domaine de Prestal. It’s a wonderful, tranquil location surrounded by lovely countryside. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. Nicholas is a great host and makes very good cocktails! A hearty breakfast before our departure set us up very nicely for the final stage of our journey. So much better than the just-off-the-motorway chain hotels we normally stay at. We shall return and have no hesitation in recommending this fine establishment."
