Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge

I absolutely love this place. The cast is always friendly and go out of their way to make our stay magical. We are DVC and boulder ridge is our home resort. We have stayed here many times and anytime I have needed something they go above and beyond to help me out. From someone who has stayed at most of the Disney resorts I have to say this is the best resort on Disney property.

Cabins are very nice and in a lovely setting. Could do without the few guest-rented motor boats that sped by on the lake one day; but the scheduled transportation boats are very welcome – a nice relaxing start or end to any day. Cabins could do with a bit more plantings for privacy between them (especially on either side of the screened porches). Spa is great! Unfortunately, only ONE parking space per cabin is offered (although each cabin sleeps 8 so many guests take up more than one parking space). So for our latest stay we had NO parking available to us except for over in the Wilderness Lodge parking lot. In addition to being EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT, this is particularly POOR PLANNING, especially considering how many resorts Disney World has already built. Making matters worse, the front desk staff offered absolutely NO assistance at all (not even a wheeled cart!) in getting our luggage and groceries the extended distance to our cabin. MUCH, MUCH, MUCH!! prefer our DVC memberships at Saratoga Springs and Old Key West where the staff TRULY makes one feel Welcomed Home!

EVERYTHING about the Copper Creek Villas Was spectacular. Service, hospitality, accommodations, restaurants, pools, entertainment, Anne t, transportation. Not a single complaint. (Wish the Geiser Was working)

We booked this property / room so we could sleep for a couple of hours and swim after we arrived on a redeye flight from LA. Our flight was to land at 6:30. We checked in on the Disney World app a week ahead and were expecting a room assignment around 4pm, but were never given one. Fast forward to our arrival at 9:00 (our flight was delayed) we went to the front desk to get a room number and were finally given a room (two hours before checkout). We walked down to our room and imagine our surprise when a maid walked out of our room! I asked what she was doing and she told us she was almost done cleaning the room. How is that possible if checkin was at 4pm and it is now 9am the following day? Clearly they rented our room to someone else and gave us the first available room that was cleaned the next day. Regardless, we waiting in the hall for 5 min for her to finish and dropped our bags. The room was ok, nothing special at all. We then decided since it was now 9 that we would go have breakfast, and swim for a bit. Breakfast was a typical quick service and again average at best. We changed into our swim clothes and it was now after 10am and the main pool was to be open. We walked in to swim and then were told the pool is closed due to insufficient water levels and to check back later. We went to the DVC pool that was overcrowded due to the other pool being closed, swam for 10 min, grabbed our bags and left. Clearly this is not a property that we will be coming back to. While it looks great on paper and photos, I doesn't feel that way when you are there. We will not be back.

We recently stayed in the cabins over the Christmas break and they were incredible. Even if this wasn’t on Disney property it would have been amazing. The cabin is a vacation by itself. The fact that you are at Wilderness Lodge and at Disney puts this at an incredible level. We have been staying here for years and love it every single time!

We stayed at this resort with our two young children and upon check-in, we were upgraded to a two bedroom villa, instead of a one bedroom. The staff at this resort are exceptional and the rooms are absolutely stunning. The pool area was fantastic and my kids had a blast. Getting to/from Magic Kingdom was very easy and there were an assortment of transportation options available throughout the day. We would definitely stay at this resort again.
