We had a lovely 3 night stay here in January. Service was excellent, we felt very welcomed. Menu choice very good especially breakfast. Great choice of gluten free on the menu too. We stayed in a garden room which was very warm and spacious. Very impressed that in the room we had a small flask of fresh milk rather than the long-life plastic cartons you usually find!

Lovey hotel, staff are friendly and courteous. Rooms are nice, bar is a welcoming environment, and the food is excellent. Very happy overall.

Good place to stay in Orford.
Best of all the local options: very efficient & good reception. Extremely comfortable bed.
Room would benefit from having a safe.

Good service but average overall stay
Not bad but unfortunately the food was not up to the standard we have been used to in our previous visits. Dinner could not really be described as "fine dining" and breakfast was a bit uninspiring. The garden room is lovely but the mattress was a little bit too soft for my taste. Service is still good however.

Our stay was over Christmas, which was absolutely lovely and met all our expectations. We have stayed at other times of the year and have never been disappointed. The service, food and attention to detail is excellent. Great rooms, too: spotless and with very comfy beds for a great night's sleep.

This is a lovely small hotel, nice location in a small village with good walks nearby. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a success. They are friendly and efficient. One of us has special dietary requirements and this was accommodated at every point. We very much enjoyed the food, good choice, local produce, well presented and delicious. We spent New Year's Eve here and it was a really happy relaxed and fun evening, with great food and a very nice atmosphere.
